If still struggling perhaps try to prime master cylinder itself be injecting brake fluid with syringe 💉 take needle off , fill syringe with brake fluid, take top tube off which goes to ur master cylinder…take it off there it connects to ur brake fluid reservoir and inject brake fluid into ur master cylinder… pump clutch pedal…perhaps press in once…then inject more brake fluid… reattach tube back … and try to bleed it now… Hope it helps!!!

    Thank you for confirming the piston retraction. I've not long finished my first ever rear pad replacement on my Audi A5 with all going OK until I heard someone say you have to wind back the piston or it could lead to a damaged calliper. I genuinely didn't know this as mine was pushed back easily, like the front ones. Thank you for your short explanation in this as I can now breath a sigh of relief. Out of interest how much does the rear brake pads get used for braking, do they get used in conjunction with the front ones or are they more for emergency braking and handbrake? Reason I ask is the front callipers are bigger so why aren't the ones at the back the same. Thanks

  • @jersovauto
    @jersovautoАй бұрын

    Glad you found my video helpful!!! In regards of rear brakes they do get used at the same time with front ones .. front ones one larger simply cos they take more load force of ur entire car 🚗 weight and rear ones kind of helping them to slow ur car down… this is how law of physics works.. unless in reversing, but u don’t reverse at the crazy speed I hope 😂 some cars like Mercedes and Nissan for example using rear brake pads for braking when driving and brake shoes for handbrake… hope this helps and thanks for commenting!!! 👍 🤜
