Misha's not a bad parent. I've known someone who has passed out and their parents wouldn't let them go to the doctors to see if she was okay. So I had my mom take her. Thankfully we did because she ended up needing a brain tumor removed and her parents knew that and didn't care. So those of you saying that Misha is a bad parent, he's not. That's his sense of humor. He was probably worried for his child while it actually happened (I'm not sure tho, just going off of the fact that he has a son and daughter and its obvious that he loves them very much.)

He is making a point about liquor being associated with manliness ie: tough guys use booze to cope, they drive a cool muscle car, wear a leather jacket and boots it is an image they want to maintain with the character by the sound of things. Clint Eastwood didn't even smoke and was allergic to horses but that didn't suit his image in the Westerns that made him famous.

How about the fact that Dean couldn't out drink Mick Davies? Can we talk about that? Forget Dean and alcohol, let's talk about Mick and alcohol. First scene in "The British Invasion" after the flashback is Mick waking up next to a half empty bottle of liquor, implying he had been drinking before he either fell asleep or passed out. Then while Sam and Dean are hungover after spending a night drinking with Mick, he isn't and even asks if they "got any vodka." Mick may not have been a complete alcoholic, but he definitely drank heavily.

Mick was totally an alcoholic. It was his escape and he was an interesting, actually well thought out character that had a lot of potential. Either way, the focus is more on Dean because obviously, he's a main character. And even (especially) in season 15, Dean is showing alcoholic behavior.

Bent my head backwards at a 90 degree angle when I was about 2. I went to the hospital and it looked worse than it really was. If you baby kids, they learn helplessness. I know this is kind of different but Misha wouldn't have joked about if it didn't turn out okay in the end. Kids aren't made of glass.

Omg I was always hoping to be able to experience that again and there it is! <3 thank you so much for sharing! <3 For everybody interested: We spent Sunday morning at the Faith and Love orphanage in Jacmel, a great place that houses more then 80 children from babies till young grown ups. They do wonderful work and we were allowed to visit them during their church Service and Jason contributed so amazingly to it!
