- помощи технически подкованным владельцам техники и оборудования в осуществлении самостоятельного ремонта и апгрейда их устройств, используя мои видео как технический мануал, подсказку или же как средство вдохновения для работы;
- личного рабочего портфолио и отчёта по сделанным ремонтам;
- развлечения (почему нет!) 😀

    G’day Anthony,just came across your video down under in Australia & been having the no sound issue on start up until I restart a few times,do you happen to have a record of the value of the caps so I can pre purchase & possible try to replace myself,as I’m ok with a soldering iron (not amazing like you though),I noticed you remove the solder completely on each cap is there a reason for that ? I will struggle to find a electronics tech so will give it a try,any extra help would g Be fantastic,love all your videos mate Cheers Cj

    Holy f*cking shit, you are a Sorcerer! This Maschine’s are awesome, I had a Roland VS2000 CD, the last in line, but the only one with USB! I install one VS8F-2 Board and one VS8F-3 Board into the VS2000 with all 10 released Plugins for the VS8F-3 Board! I sell the Maschine for 8 or 10 Years …today I must say, I wish it back, really! The VS2000 have a great Recording Sound, ok only in 44.1Khz but 16 and 24Bit possible. The VS8F-3 Plug-ins were awesome, the Soundblender Soundtoys are totally once, you get with that sounds out your guitar, you never heard them before in your life, and that‘s Sounds were Great! Nice Job Man …puha … I never can do that, I believe that such Maschine’s you have there, are really really good today, and I think no one else have a VS 2400 like you have…. Cool, really really nice Job! Thanks for sharing this!

    Which cable do you use for the switch? minus(-) or plus (+) ?

  • @Anthony_Scott_Studioservice
    @Anthony_Scott_StudioserviceАй бұрын

    This is not + or -, this device runs on AC mains current, and the wires/cabling have standard called Line, Neutral, PE. For internal wiring I use 1.5 or 2.5 square mm flexible wire. Input cable - H07RN-F Top Cable 3x 2.5.

    bravo. I did this too, with a 2480. 80 caps on the mainboard alone : ) Have you considered a CF card? Mine boots a full project in seconds, it's unbelievably fast. Somebody (previous owner or repairer) had dropped the back cover onto the custom gate array IC. However, even though the legs are bent, it still works fine

    Ух ты! На такую технику я всегда смотрю с восхищением - прям чувствуется былое величие, так сказать) А так же боюсь представить его цену - как сейчас, так и в своё время. Причём для полноценной звукозаписи нужно было ещё очень много всего помимо многоканального магнитофона... Кстати, а какая там максимальная скорость ленты? 76 см (или 30 дюймов) в секунду?

  • @Anthony_Scott_Studioservice
    @Anthony_Scott_Studioservice2 ай бұрын

    Спасибо за коммент! Да, техника действительно серьёзная, надёжная, и на то время (середина-конец 80х) была нафарширована очень технологичными фитчами и наворотами, существенно облегчающими эксплуатацию. 820-й вообще считается чуть ли не «лакшери» аппаратом )) Могу сказать и про себя, что в процессе студийных или же сервисно-ремонтных работ, я также отношусь к аналоговым рекордерам с должным уважением. Цены на конкретно эти машины за рубежом сегодня в пределах 7…12 к$, это примерно 1/10 от цены нового. Но и у нас в стране, если не говорить конкретно про Штудера, периодически всплывают в продаже 2-дюймовые мультитреки различных производителей за не очень большие деньги. Но разумеется, эта техника отнюдь не “plug and play”, а требует ввода в строй, периодических процедур обслуживания и настройки… Да, макс.скорость 30 ips , но на этой скорости завал НЧ происходит раньше, впрочем как и на любом магнитофоне (тут увы физика, ничего не поделать), да и расход носителя серьёзный, один рулон 762м - это 16 минут записи. Поэтому 30-ка всегда используется под свои определённые задачи.

    Nice video! Super professional craftsmanship, v impressive :D Asking for a personal project of mine: Do you think it would be possible to make this same box, but switch out the Schuko sockets for automotive USB outlets? I like the safety features of the Schuko sockets, but I am having trouble finding USB outlets that have similar safety built in and also safe to use with rocker/toggle switches.

  • @Anthony_Scott_Studioservice
    @Anthony_Scott_StudioserviceАй бұрын

    Thank you for your rating and kind words! Yes, of course, you can install any sockets for yourself in such a design, even USB, but it’s true that in this case the distributor will serve to supply DC power to USB devices (why not!). The device in this video is for connecting loads operating from a 230V mains, so I used Schuko with covers.

I see so many sloppy soldering jobs on youtube with people splashing solder everywhere and almost causing shorts between connections (or not having their iron hot enough). the dipping of the cap leads in flux before soldering was a nice touch. full points sir!

    Greetings Anthony. I sent you a few words two months ago on your excellent video---also mentioned having an MX-5050 bii-2 having starting issues. I hear a few seconds of arcing sounds that I believe were coming from the mechanical safety switch, but after further research appears to be coming from the capstan motor. This only happens during initial play or if the unit has sat for about 30 minutes after initial play. Sometimes, I don't get the arcing sound and the motor does not come on at all after moving the right tension arm. Your input would be greatly appreciated--and keep up the great videos.

  • @Anthony_Scott_Studioservice

    All VS-2400 machines have a universal internal power supply of the same schematic design and work perfectly from a mains of 100 to 240 volts. The voltage value on the back panel label indicates compliance with country-specific export requirements only, so don't worry.

    My 2480 is experiencing all the same symptoms that you demonstrated . I have been looking for a repair shop for years now . unable to find anybody willing to attempt it .your video makes it seem pretty easy if all I have to do is remove and and replace capacitors on the main board. Then all I would need is the number of capacitors and type, all the chemical , I’m assuming , that’s listed in the service manual on the main board. Note, I am not an engineer of anything, but as I stated, if all I have to do is remove and replace I’m confident that I can manage this. I did also see in the service manual that there are chemical capacitors on the Jack board and analog board as well. Would I need to replace these also? Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated

    I replaced all the caps on a 2480, all the surface mount ones and the large filter cap. The PSU I left alone. It's easy to read the values off the side of the caps. It's difficult to open up and access the boards but with patience you can get it running again.
