Living Simply Australia

Living Simply Australia

Hi! I'm Martina. I help people migrating to Australia settle in this amazing country. The videos on my channel will give you key information on getting started with your move to Australia, working and studying here, and navigating the migration experience.

My story: I migrated to Australia 9 years ago. I completed my Bachelor degree in Psychological Science and Master's here, got a professional job upon graduating, and got my PR and Aussie citizenship soon after. My professional background is in settlement and job-ready community development projects with migrants, professional skills assessments for migration, and organisational development.

Note: I'm no longer providing Resume reviews, but you can now check out our online career coaching program - bit.ly/career-coaching-jobs-lsa

I do not provide visas advice - for this ALWAYS contact a registered migration agent, never accept visas advice from non-registered people online (doing this is HIGHLY ILLEGAL).

Specialists have waiting lists of months and months. There aren't enough specialists in the country to meet the demand now, but if we all started trying to make an appointment without being vetted first, there'd by 5 year waits.

I was born in 1965 in Australia 🇦🇺 and so ashamed of this country now exspecally with this present Government and homeless and Wokeness and taking God out of the primary schools. I cant wait to get out. Run out dont walk Spain Portugal. Demark Iceland 🇮🇸 would have to be 1000 times better than Australia 🇦🇺 sorry to say.

I did my PhD in Australia with scholarship and stipend. Got treated as a second class person in the system. I wouldn’t do it again. On top, I had a 2 week gap between class finished and graduation certificate, which led to leaving the country and then apply again from outside. What a shitshow 😅 can’t recommend

Hello! If one already has a completed job training and work experience in e.g. childcare in their home country and wants to immigrate to Australia because of their partner, where would you go to get started and to have your job options laid out and discussed? Is there someone you could turn to to discuss migration, because I am frankly overwhelmed when it comes to that, haha.

Dentists earn a lot in Australia. Based on data from the major Aus job search portals, their salaries can range between 190k and 200k pa (I suspect that those who own their own dental clinics earn much much more than that)

That's way too much Vegemite! It tastes nice when lightly applied to a well buttered piece of bread, avocado or cream cheese ;) A lot of what you talked about is specific to certain states, looks like Queensland, like the bottle shops. Drive-through bottle shops are a very Australian thing :P The toilet room probably started due to outhouses being in use until surprisingly recently (1950s in Brisbane), and they were added to a lot of houses as a retrofit on the back veranda or beside the laundry, even though there was already an interior bath-room (literally for the bath). We then grew up with it, liked it, and kept doing it.

she is missing out the entrepreneurs and some self employed contractors/ building contractors. Interstate BIG truck drivers do earn big money. She missed out super successful sellers of property - top end houses, commercial developments. She missed out giving good details re highly qualified registered nurses and senior teachers and head teachers at private schools For instance: How much does a Senior educator make in Australia? The average senior educator salary in Australia is $112,618 per year or $57.75 per hour. Entry-level positions start at $71,478 per year, while most experienced workers make up to $128,400 per year. For instance a Fly in / fly out truck driver in a Western Australia mining operation: “Annually, at my $51.50 rate, that would be about $112,000 per annum my bonuses which could be around $10,000. So around $122,000 for my first year. “I hope this helps. I think it is pretty good for working only six months of the year as a truckie. Now a senior Registered Nurse in Australia The national average salary for a Senior registered nurse is $89,500 in Australia.16 May 2024
