I had my left hip replaced May 14, 2024 Posterior method. The surgery went well and I was walking around that afternoon with a walker. Stayed overnight at hospital. I noticed soon after recovery that I had tingling in my right hand two small fingers. Then my shoulder started hurting and has hurt ever since. I had a doctor visit in June and mentioned that I think they twisted my shoulder wrong. I also had a fully torn Rotator Cuff and repaired 2008. Some loose of movement. I never thought of telling the doctors. I did mention how much pain I had when my Rotator Cuff was repaired. So I told doctor and she seemed unsure of how that would happen. It wasn't like that before surgery. Now it is everyday. I go back in August for a follow up. My hip is doing great and no more pain going down my leg. I am out of shape after dealing with hip pain for over a year. Doctor did tell me I had bad Arthretic Damage to the hip. Also someone told me they know someone that had same issue of arm pain after surgery that they didn't have.

In February 2011, I sustained a back injury while lifting a heavy object without proper form. My back was bent rather than straight, and as I lifted, I felt a severe cramp-like sensation, causing me to collapse onto a nearby bed. Since then, I've been unable to fully rotate or bend laterally without encountering a knot or stiffness around the bottom of my thoracic spine. While watching a video, I began to suspect that a disc might have been overstretched. Could you provide any advice on this? Would performing back stretches, such as the cat-cow stretch and arching my back, be beneficial, or should I consult a doctor first? Thank you for your help.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bynum for a couple of years now and am very pleased with the care I've received from his practice. He always listens attentively to what you have to say and he's very professional. The nurses and assistants at his practice are also very professional. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a reputable doctor.

Thank you for providing demonstrations. I am very surprised that engaging the core was not mentioned. I had such a hard time with these exercises in PT until they realized that I wasn't using my core. Once I learned that, I was able to really build good balance and was less wobbly. I still go through these exercises and it is nice to have the reminder video.

The title specifies "anterior" hip replacement, but the instructor warns of restrictions after "posterior" hip replacement. Apparently this video is DANGEROUSLY mislabeled.

Well, watching them melt away within 48 hours felt so good, and yes, I used what I mentioned the other day. It actually took a bit more to make them totally disappear, I just go’ogled Melissa Thanderski and the pain unexpectedly disappeared so quickly.
