Teachers play favorite & get the victims in trouble for no reason & if the kid is allergic or asthmatic & simply warns the kids to step away before a snot or vomit spout comes then teachers try expelling them asap just to be even more asshole then their paycheck lets them be.

One of the foster homes I was in when I was 4 kept me in a kennel under the table and fed me cat food and butter, would only give me the water in animals water dish, my foster brother would sneak me chips through the cracks in the door but one time they caught him giving me food so they sewed his fingers together with a sewing machine and sewed mine together also, it was excruciating and I’ll never forget hearing him scream and me passing out from the pain only at 4, a different home would lock me in a closet for like 10 hours a day and I’d have to pee and do number 2 in a bucket, if I wet my pants they would force my head in the toilet and force me to drink dirty toilet water

It’s NOT the OP’s problem. The blame rests ENTIRELY on the mother.

I understand what silent consent means, that wasn't the case here. Foster care can be an absolute nightmare or a blessing the challenge is you don't know which way it will go especially for 6 children. Odds aren't in favor that it will go well for all 6. I would go to child services and get them out. Child services will continue their investigation into the mother and their home. If the mother doesn't care for the children properly they will be taken away which would be on her.

There was a gang of kids at my school who always acted tough, and in Gym class they tried to fight my friend, i intervine and one kid shoves my head into a wall, i begin throwing punches (no adults had saw this), then we go to the locker room where the original kid, a fatass, and some kid who looked barely 4 feet jump me, so i begin to win the 3v1 until im thrown into a corner where they wail on me, im only left with a scratch on my chin and no punishment at home, along with a 3 day vacation

No such thing as silent consent. No means no. You did the right thing. If she’s willing to just leave her kids with anyone imagine it’s not the first time and next time it could be with someone not as nice who could hurt those kids. This needed to be flagged by cps so these kids don’t get lost, stolen or seriously abused by someone including their mother.

For me, it's the fact that the mom tried to talk over her when she was trying to explain that it was her wedding... I can understand why certain parents give more attention to certain children/siblings. Maybe they have certain disabilities or the fact that they are literal babies, but clear favorisms AND the fact they choose a football game over their only daughters wedding is wild to me. Of course, not to say that one sibling's event is more important than the other but come on😭

Sipent consent doesn't exist. That's the mindset of someone who would take advantage of another person just because they didn't say the words no. Despite the fact they didn't say yes. Silence is always a no unless specifically stated otherwise by the person. And why some people like op's husband do have a bad experience in Foster care it isn't always like that and besides the mother clearly prioritises herself over her own children so their probably better of in foster care where they may get parents who actually give a shit about them

NTA! And I think it's really 💩 that your husband is trying to say that you are in the wrong. Even though the kids were dumped on your doorstep so that the mother could go on holiday without even asking you. F her she put herself in that position and if she doesn't have other help maybe she should use protection and stop having kids

Foster care is not as bad as everyone thinks. I did foster care for 5 years. I know many foster families. The kids are loved and cared for. Of course there are bad homes but that is actually the exception, not the rule. Sounds like the kids will at least be cared for in foster care

Nta, i would be so pissed at my neighbor and my husband, why do the assholes always try to shift the blame, this mom is going to have to learn the hard way to take care of your children...husband may have been in foster care and had bad experience but that doesn't mean they all are, you should have said well ill go get the kids and you can stay with them till mommy cones home...

Foster care can be bad but a neglectful mother constantly abandoning her children is just as bad, what happens when she abandons them with a kidnapper, human trafficker or pedophile? At least now if something happens theres a social worker coming by twice a month to check on the children.

Its wild to me how so many will treat criminal acts that would land you in jail or at least with charges and a fine/community service like its just kids being kids when it happens in a school, you try to wipe peanut butter on someone whose alergic in public and many eoukd glaldy charge you with attempted murder but if it happens in a school its "oh theyre kids"
