    @@flako4u77 I bought an Civic Si spoiler to be installed on Civic Sport. Only issue I have is that it didn't come with paper templates. The Honda parts tech where I bought this said the guys at service department may have that on the Civic's repair shop manual for download.

    @@ybrik5937 you don’t really need the paper. What you can do put a sponge where the clips and bolts go and add little be of paint on the sponge where you see the marks of the paint on the care is where you need to make the holes 🕳️ just align the wing the way you want it before you drill easy bro

    Great installation vid! So those two threaded screws doesn't require a nut and it's just supposed to be pushed in?

    Yes you still have to add the nuts to really secure the wing

    You don’t need to ever replace a Toyota metal mesh screen transmission filter unless you are overhauling the transmission . I really fail to understand why so many KZreadrs do this. Look at what AISIN recommends. Also the bolts are coated with loctite from the factory and typically break when removed. Ask me how I know as I’ve worked on hundreds of these. Absolutely ZERO reason to remove the transmission pan unless you are having valve body issues PERIOD!

    Good refresher video, just for anyone watching in the future id suggest taking out both pins to clean and put fresh grease on them to mitigate the potential for noise in the future.

    Thanks for sharing! For the oil in the spark plug tube #1, you might have to remove that spark plug tube wiith a pipe wrench, seal the threads and re-install. The oil seepage into that tube is not coming from the seals at the top of the valve cover. Good luck, and thanks again for videoing this procedure. I need to do the same work and seeing someone else attempt it is always good.

    Thanks so much for this method. The other method of pulling it up and to the right, sounds like a spacial headache. Right now I'm just stopped by all of the hoses that don't want to budge. So I'm waiting on hose pliers to come in before I continue.

  • @pixelcultmedia4252
    @pixelcultmedia42523 ай бұрын

    Finally got the job done. I honestly thought I had an extra bolt left over before I realized that the new Starter came with its own bolt. Once I realized that, I was able to calm down and put it all back together. The hardest part of the job was that stupid little hose underneath the manifold. Re-connecting it is a hassle because you can only fit one finger down there at a time. So you're basically flicking the hose until it catches on the nipple, and then dragging your finger along the hose to pressure it back onto the nipple.

    You’re too much lol the encouragement you give while cursing me out is hysterical. My mechanic wants to charge me $427 to change one solenoid. He said he need 1.5 hrs for labor. My dad said they can do it in 30 mins. I guess when you don’t know what you’re doing it takes long?

  • @flako4u77
    @flako4u774 ай бұрын

    Mechanics never charge for their time, mechanics charge for their knowledge. If a mechanic charges $427 for one solenoid tell him to change all for the same price because he will do all the work for that particular solenoid anyways
