Hello, My name is Nicholas and I have been interested in car washes since I was 3-4 years old. To me, the biggest fascination with car washes has got to be the mechanical aspect of it. What makes it kind of like an adventure to me is seeing something different each time, whether it be different tunnel layouts, different chemistry, signage, and seeing what's new in different markets. Remember, it's all about the experience!
I am a Floridian, based out of the central area.
The goal for 2023 is to change the style of my channel. There's a reason all of my previous videos have been "unlisted" is my belief in wanting to try things a little differently, and see where it goes. I hope each and every one of you likes the content, and if there's something I could improve upon, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Oh, boy, no dry buff top brush... big deal!
@@ameliadiaz8040 Yeah, I’ve seen a load of sites on SONNYs controls failing give packages that come with that component, it happens randomly, but honestly if you use a good drying agent it’s not really worth worrying about, my car came out just fine…
Gotta love the little to no brush contact 🗣️
Hey Nick give me a shout if you want to come visit our wash in Orlando
Lots of equipment. Very nice
The top brush did not work very well.
Yo! I have a request, can you go to Mod Wash in Pinellas park florida? Nice vids btw!
Love the triple wrap setup. However, they should have done rockers instead of pendulums under the second top brush.
What can I say, we love high pressure… 😂 I agree though.
Great video! Love Sonny’s equipment.
Nice video!
Thanks!
@@CarwashReviewsFlorida No problem!
Is it getting replaced?
Likely not.
@@CarwashReviewsFlorida That’s interesting. So I assume it will stay like that.

Hey today is the seven year anniversary that I posted first video on my KZread channel and you were the first person to comment on it.
The main problem with tunnel washes is the operators. They load cars like 2 feet away from each other and have the conveyor going really fast to process quickly, which lowers the wash quality by a mile. Great Video!
You're talking to a tunnel attendant and soon-to-be manager here, lol. So, if you have your chemistry dialed in properly, the right amount of mils, etc you won't be lowering quality. Also, many different tunnels have different chain speeds set to work off their chemistry setup. You really have to play around with things when it's a brand-new tunnel, but once you hit the sweet spot, there's no going back. Where I work we have auto-roller where when the back tires roll over the tape switch it automatically fires a roller. I absolutely love it as on busy days like we've had from pollen season now, our car counts are higher and stacking is doable.
@@CarwashReviewsFlorida When you load cars so close the brush can’t even go between both of the cars comfortably then you are going to have a huge problem if someone jumps a roller. still will always prefer inbay washes. One near me is VERY clean and they hose the brushes off after almost every car during day.
@@DylBuilder1 It sends extra rollers after the one for the vehicle is sent, and the wraps do make full contour front and back still. So you like IBAs, nothing wrong with that, but answer this! Can your IBA wash up to 1000+ cars in one day fast and efficiently with no stop, and no wait time? I will give PETIT a point as they are the ONLY IBA I would ever install if I were forced to go with an IBA.
@@CarwashReviewsFlorida But the conveyor doesn’t stop for the spare rollers to hit the tire. No, but why would I want to spend 500k+ on a full blown tunnel(because if I was going to go tunnel I’d get the fusion, x3 and everything) when I can do 200k on an inbay, wash for the same/ similar price, and earn back my investment faster. I respect your opinion on tunnels though.
@@DylBuilder1 No hate man, I respect your opinion as well. If you don't mind me asking, what chemistry do you run or plan to run? I am going with either Lustra or QualChem, all depends on the cost though.
i wish i could still see your other videos :(
Been a long time. Nice content. Contact if ok. News update bout your bro.
Looks like this wash leaves a high amount of soap on the vehicle after the wash is done.
We've changed a lot since then, and have had time to dial things in correctly. This was taken when the store was brand new July of 2021.
The Building Looks Nice!
Nice to know you can actually do that with a wash!
Hey I just saw all the equipment listed on Consignment. They say that they will be switching to Sonny's and I think that is a wise decision but Belanger can be hard to maintain. I think as long as you know what your doing then you won't have a problem. Just keep track of everything. Sonny's is the best though.
wash city bought this location is why they are switching out everything. Wash city uses sonnys machines. The belt is staying at least.
@@justinpalmari2214 Oh go figure well I hope these videos stay up.
@@carwashslayer4235 they prolly will. Wash city seems to be taking over the area. They got more locations that are about to be built near by. They arent afraid to spend money lol.
@@justinpalmari2214 interesting
I don't work for this company, it is changing to Wash City as they bought Pearl out. I work for a company "prefer not to say" that uses SONNY'S and it's alright, just have to maintain the aluminum is all, otherwise as with any piece of equipment, you need to do preventative maintenance. Any manufacturer equipment works fine, as long as it's tuned right.
Are the last operating Ryko R7B Ultracleans in the US are at Lube It USA Willamette in Eugene, Silver Star Car Wash in North Miami & Howell Sunoco in Cumberland?
I have no idea, I don't really spend time looking for IBAs anymore. I'm more interested in tunnels and happen to work for an express exterior wash. I believe I still have my R7B video from Silver Star uploaded if you're still interested.
Sorry for the delay, I had to find a different way to reach out to you.
Oh god that mitter bearing sounds like a dying elephant!
Like the pulley system in this wash
I have a question why is your subscriber count 666 are you a demon that haunts car washes
Not sure... Could I be though? Nahh
Did the 1997 till 1998 PDQ Laserwash 4000 didn’t have the blue PDQ Laserwash 4000 words printed at the front of the PDQ Laserwash 4000 frame facing the exit while the 1999 till 2005 PDQ Laserwash 4000 had the blue PDQ Laserwash 4000 words printed at the front of the PDQ Laserwash 4000 frame facing the exit?
Haven't a clue, I wasn't around back in the 90s...
The mitter sounds like a dying farm animal!
Heyyy, nick how are you man! nice video Keep makin more bangers
Is this the same wash that had the run-down Belanger tunnel? If so, I’m glad they got rid of it!
Yes it is!!! (I’m the driver in the video)
This Hot Mama Surprises me with how it’s still in good condition, and the customization looks very well, Happy Bays went all out on this, props to them for the Protovest as well.
Love that dryer startup!
Nice Jim Coleman touchless system it’s done and amazing job especially with trifoam as well as high pressure overall this is a well kept system maintenance very good especially for age

WOAH THAT BIGGER GEAR IS MOVING SO FAST 😳
I think having the quickfires adjacent to each other makes for a better wash process so you get one on either side. Check out elwood and Bohemia personal Touch
We have one QF on either side which is how they are supposed to be setup.
@@therapylarry7745 What I'm saying is some washes have it setup the same brushes on the same side instead of opposite sides.
Went through this one recently and it did a great job!
