Bought a 99 Lesabre a month ago for $1800 with 100k miles from an older man. It needed valve cover gaskets, tires, a tierod, and an alignment. A speaker was blown and the cassette deck it didn't work, so I put a JVC deck, kicker speakers, and an mtx sub in it. For the $3200 I've put into it, its been the best daily I've driven so far and scary smooth for a 25 year old vehicle. Parts and labour are dirt cheap compared to the ford or subaru I had previously, would recommend.

It’s crazy how cars like these are easily twice the size of modern cars. Three times as durable too

This is the kind of used car you’d want to buy. Something that was very clearly babied to death and maintained like I literal newborn child. A true gem.

Just because you are saying something good about Sailun tires, I am gonna give it a shot next time. Have always thought it is an awful brand of tires made by the China Communists that is also very good with making nano-scopically sized bad bugs.

I was 17 when these came out and my dad bought a 1984 Thunderbird for me which I totaled 5 weeks after I got it for my birthday. He paid $5,000 for it cash and only put liability on it. After it was totaled, he only got $500 for it. I cost him 4,500, but when I saw the 1988 Turbo Coupe, fell in love. This is back when Ford made their vehicles to last almost forever. Now, I wouldn't by an American made car if you paid me, because they purposely make them to fall apart insuring, they can make more money off you.

Btw; this workshop contains heaps of valuables! Most hidden Gem might be the Tii Beemer. Pays $ 20' k + back in my Territory (Sweden) in a rough state...

Had one of these, in black. First gen dash as in this (gen 2 more bland). PRV 6 manual, but unfortunately not the leather. However; hydraulics were seriously fermented and ended up dumping it for pennies... But it was a Royal ride until it landed (and stayed) flat-on-the-ground. Since steering & brakes share the same hydraulics it's a true piece of work 🤨 Beware!

It was also nice to see the Morris Minor parked there, even though we only saw the rear end, are you going to try selling it to the Car Wizard to go with his DS. Greeting from England
