  Omg that looks lush, I have 4c hair! I'm white btw. I really wish I could do my hair like this but I just straighten it and tie it back. People don't believe you can have 4c hair when you are white. I had to go to an afro stylist once. She couldn't believe that I had 4c hair. My mom has the same hair so did my grandfather. We didn't know his parents at all. I think it's obvious to assume they were black. But I really wish as a white woman to wear my hair this way! The upkeep of having to straighten it is a pain. To relax it is expensive. I can braid my hair but I don't want to offend anyone.

  Try a German needle...it will allow you to go faster. Instead of pulling to tension, I rotate the needle to make an extra wrap...it tensions without puckering the lace.
