You have demystified so much for me. Is there no torque spec needed and I seen a video where the guy put sealant in the top of the valve cover where the gasket sits in is that not a good idea?
No other video showed hiw to take off the fuse cover. Thanks
Thank you this video was very helpful. 😎
Very professional and detailed 👌
Hello from Arizona. Thank you for sharing this video! I had the same problem, ordered the part and replaced it.. Went exactly like you said it would! Saved me hundreds in auto repair for sure. Thank you again!
This was really helpful since mine just went out. Thankfully I have a spare bulb from when the rear one went out.
Nothin wrong with that, in fact, id call it recycling. Lol
where is bank 1 for the vvt solenoid? please
we have this box but it is a secondary box and will not work without the primary running.
I don't think you want any drag, adjust until there is drag and then back it of just a tad. Otherwise gonna be dragging emergency brake all the time. The rotor screw is actually a JIS screw not a phillips. Makes a difference when trying to remove them.
Still helpful even after 10 years! This just helped me out. Never posted a comment on KZread before but had to do this. Thank you!
We just bought a 2017 Zinger and the fridge looks exactly the same with same settings and everything. I was wondering why there was an auto setting and a gas setting 😆. I was under the impression it was propane only
I was able to successfully replace my shifter tube shaft entirely based upon this video. Thanks a ton for the top notch instructions.
COOL VIDEO !!!
If u don’t wanna take off everything just put one Zip tie at the base of the pullie thing and another zip tie as a hook and adjust it as needed. I’ll see how long it lasts
I opened the cap and when I was pushing the piston back in brake fluid was coming out of the master cylinder cap! Should I take it to a shop, bleed the brakes or is this a common thing? Please help
When you collapse the brake piston you are pushing some of the brake fluid back into the master cylinder, we recommend doing one side at a time to help prevent the brake fluid from spilling over and out of the master cylinder. Replace both sides, when you are done pump up the brake pedal until it is hard or firm, then recheck the fluid level in the master cylinder. Top it off if you need to. Hope this helps you out. You should be okay using this method.
I take it cars with a manual trans dont have the driver side bolt issue? I may be doing this job soon and have a 03 GT.
What if a friend helps you to close it by doing all of what you showed, and then the door won't open now at all ? Why did it do this? Thank you
I found parts came off it i don't where it's go
omfg…
I was wondering why I never tried to replace the cabin air filter of our CMax and this is why. I had my wife working on it now since it was her car. I told her my hand was too big to fit.😁
Thanks for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to replace the air cabin filter in a Ford Focus.
Used this video to replace window regulator in my 2007 Ford Expedition and it was a seamless process. For a guy who can barely change a light bulb, I'm sure you just saved me a few hundred dollars! Thanks so much for sharing and making available to us mechanically disinclined types, very much appreciated.
Thank you for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to replace the window regulator on a Ford Expedition. Have a great day!
Some shady guy glued on the nut to the fitting, i mean the nut is literally bonded to the fitting all around. Ithink he applied pvc pipe glue to the fitting instead just using plumbers tape. Ive broken quite a bit of the plastic fitting with sharp pliers. Still does not budge. Started using a dremel to cut through the plastic. But its very slow. Been working on it for 2 weeks. Cant fill up pool all the way up. Cant run pump. This is hell.
UGH..Hope you get through it okay. What a pain. I would maybe try a sawzall with a fine blade. You would have to be real careful of the pool wall though.
This almost turned into an osha safety video
lol.. Rob was over the other day watch our grillin video...lol
Thanks going to tackle this myself
Thank you for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to replace the rack and pinion on a Ford F150
Excellent video! Thanks!
Awesome, thanks for the support! So happy you liked it!
Wow i just did this to my pool and it worked! Took like 3 minutes to set up. Thank you!!
That's awesome to hear! So glad it worked for you!
Hi! What about the plastic piece that connects to the tank itself? The side that is facing the tank?
I am not sure which plastic piece you are referring to.
Stop mumbling
no
Thanks brother! It worked!
Glad it helped
“Pahmp it ahp! No moah ayah.”😂
Thanks for checking out our auto repair video that shows you how to perform a brake job on a Pontiac Vibe.
This looks like the simplest pump change I've ever seen.
It isn't too bad.
Hey man, could you share the total width of this armchair, include the arms and backrest. The site says it is about 5 feet. Is that correct. Apologies if you don’t have this chair anymore, as I realise this video is 9 years old.
I believe it was about 5'. It is a nice chair!
@@HomeOwnerRepair Went to the store and checked it out. It is 3 1/2 feet in width (the part against the wall), but I think that is what IKEA (and others maybe) refer to as length. So all in all pretty confusing, but I picked it up, and yeah thanks for the reply. It does look pretty great.
I’d be afraid of forgetting to retighten the lid when done.
Thanks for watching
Great video. Thorough and extremely informative!
Just doing my best to keep you guys informed and entertained, glad it's working!
What the silver coupling for on the track bar?
It allows adjustment for the tie rod end.
Man!! I was planning on doing this on my ford focus…but tight and cramped!!! Sigh I’ll do it, but not today! Thanks for posting this
Thank you for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to replace the cabin filter in a Ford Focus.
My hoses are arriving now for the front brakes... thank you!! You guys ROCK! Because I did not watch your video until now, I have a good backup set of pads, rotors, calipers, and a MB cylinder, just in case LOL ... full disclosure, last time I changed front pads, I used a teethed vice grip to clamp off the flex hoses, and they've been dragging brakes ever since... who knew a crushed internal flex hose would act as a check valve!! Live and learn (I hear every ASE mechanic in the world laughing hysterically) - GTG, Amazon just delivered the lines! To all of you Almost-can DIY'ers like myself, be safe!! :) Follow-up: After pumping brakes with front off the ground and the wheels not spinning clued me into the line holding pressure...answers again why I couldn't bleed them yet there was no leaking... anyhow, on to the story: Brake lines done, flowing on both sides like honey from a beehive in the middle of August :) and OMG, drives and stops like it's on RAILS! It hasn't felt this good in both forward AND braking power in YEARS. Thanks again, fellas, GREAT JOB!! You saved me lots of aspirin! - Mine: 2016 JKU 75th ann. 106Kmi
Thank you for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to replace the brake caliper flex hose on a Jeep Wrangler. Have a great day!
My steering has a shudder when I drive it slowly. I noticed by my pedals one of those u joints that are on what I believe to be the intermediate shaft is missing the nut on one end. Could this be the reason for the shudder?
I am not sure, but if the intermediate steering shaft is missing a nut I wouldn't drive the vehicle until it is fixed.
I just wanna tell me where the black wire comes off the distributor does it go to the kill switch on the port bank heat stranger
I currently do not have a wire diagram that shows it's position.
Should the emergency hand brake be on or off during this job? Thank you.
Turn it off.
You can do this at home if you wish, but for sake’s don’t do it to paying customers!
This is one of my cars. I’m just bustin on Steve. Nothing wrong with what we’re doing.
Thanks Bro 👍
No problem at all thanks for watching.
Listen to the old man
I call him old man all the time..lol
so the gasket just sits there around the hole? theres no slot to keep it from moving
It should be in the position that is shown in the video.
Wow filter right on top of that motor. Quick and easy.
That’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru
Yeah nice and easy oil change on this subie
New oil on that
It doesn’t matter it’s fine..lol
If you have new oil what is the actual benefit or reason to use the old oil? Legitimately makes no sense.@@HomeOwnerRepair
New oils still in the bottle and the old stuff is right there in the catch pan and in the old filter. Quicker and easier and it doesn't make a difference
Tried and true method
Thanks for watching
Ty good video 👍
Hey, thanks for checking out the video!
Have same engine, what the torque setup? well if you also have the video how to change the timing belt would be nice . and thank you for the videos.
Thank you for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to replace the valve cover on a Hyundai Accent. We also have an auto repair video the shows you how to replace the timing chain, here is a link to it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k5yur7elhpytkdY.htmlsi=uBvKpN81Yxvz9h-i
