That's freaking insane! One of my favorite games! Played it about 60 times. Never have I had that happen... I've had pitch black moments or seeing through the floor which shows the outside clouds or whatever lol but that could have been from the disc being old.
You know its funny, I remember one time I pulled out the Game boy Horror first person view, and saw a perfect thin strip of the outside from within the Tea Room. It was like along the middle part of the walls and it went all the way around. Never seen pitch black though.... 🤔🤔
@@OfficialGlitchDoctor that's pretty interesting! Yeah the pitch black might have been the disc being old and faulty lol. Had to reset it I believe when it happened...

I actually tried dying in the hub, and *I did it* !!!! However, when I warped to the Trial Galaxies Planet, I could no longer fly. I’d jump, then shake my Wii remote, but Luigi *would not spin* Any tips?

There seems to usually be a surplus of coins in Odyssey. Never played it unfortunately but if coins is your reward as a player for the balloon dlc, it’s a crazy incentive to fix a glitch like that
Yeah there is that as well. The fact that they did at least partially patch it though is interesting.
For a very brief period of time I had the #1 fastest speed worldwide on maka wuhu because of that glitch lmao

I had 2 glitches happen to me as a kid. I'm not sure if they've ever been documented. 1) I was standing on the edge of the well, and the ceiling ghost surprised luigi. He fell down the well without using the ladder. This seems similar to a glitch covered in this video. 2) Over a decade later and I'm still salty about this one. It was my first playthrough, and I didn't have a memory card, so every night I would just leave my wii on, and resume playing the next day. I was fighting bogmire, and I attempted to suck up one of his shadows. It condensed into that dark ball with the particle effects, and then... nothing. The ball was just floating there. All the other shadows disappeared, and bogmire never reappeared. I couldn't interact with the shadow ball no matter how hard I tried. I was soft locked. I knew that if I reset I'd lose all my save data, so I spent HOURS of trying in vain to do SOMETHING. Eventually, I had to admit defeat and reset my wii. I lost all my save data. To this day, starting the bogmire fight makes me a little nervous. If anyone has video of this happening, I'd appreciate being able to see it. I VIVIDLY remember the black translucent ball just floating there with the particle effects shooting off of it, taunting me. I did so many laps around the boss arena trying to trigger anything.
