Is the hood light an extra opt 7 strip? Assuming it is with the splitter so it controls halos and hood lights? I have a shaker so wanting to do the same thing. Thxs in advance

Yes, you can buy the same strips separately then Y split them-Using the same controller/remote. I have split wires to add up to 5 extra strips on the hood and grill. See pics link below & my video on how to use the Y splitters.😮 Careful on the shaker as you don’t want to disrupt the functional inlet airflow . it’s easy good luck.!

Not at all. Any cop having a bad day can pull you over whenever they want. Usually, no problem → (depending on your state) but definitely NOT approved by any DOT or State law enforcement. Turn 'em on at your own risk. *Trust me, I've met a lot of cops*, but great for car shows.

I have 10 ! (with Y splitters) But, No you just leave the 2 strips for later (or interior use) You will need the basic kit with a 'remote' to control 2, 4 or 10→ to 20+.

I ran them up the battery side with small black zip ties, with “Y Splitters” [Read Below or watch my YSplitter video] and then underneath and through parts of the black hood heat protector. It’s easy to stick your wiring through, and that protector holds the wires off the engine. Done it many times.

You’re only connecting to positive and a ground, all the wiring is covered and is totally removable. The halos are just 3M taped - simple

They are NOT made for Challenger Halos= they are interior strips wihich I adapted and works very well as halos. I put them on five different Challengers→ all of them are still on the car.... without a problem.

Nope - as I show, you keep stilling the ONE wire you bring back from the controller giving you 1(another splitter=2) and keep splitiing till you have the exact amount that you want.
