I like your videos, most because it’s not just another angler catching and holding up trophy, Fish, yours are more instructional and informative about tides conditions, bait, presentation, et cetera, and with a dose of humour thrown in, so keep it up as the little things matter

Brilliant video nice effort, funny seeing the bream trying to steal the show. That was a nice mullet all that fuss at the net and quite a chilled release.
Glad you enjoyed it, I’m not fully in tune with Jon yet, mullet don’t give up especially in shallow water ☝️
A great film, thanks bassermasser the young lads did the business. What a great way to finish off Sunday.
Cheers 🍻 😎🎣👶
just purchased a few of your rigs!!
9 of the best sir! 😎👍 Plus a FREEEEBEEEEE!!! Yes the totnes MASSIVE 👊 💚
@@bassmansbountyfishing keep them coming my man ;)
Brilliant video so much fun wrasse me and my mate found a spot it's full of big fish even had Japanese jig heads snapped, not being able to stop them. Just love how there all different colour
Yes love the brutality and colours 😎💚
Put a small pennel hook on with a rubber stop below it so the worm doesn't slip down
Great tip 👍😎
Hi again, Paul. Inspired by your video, I fished the spot yesterday (Saturday) all the way in from low to high tide. Had a stonkin' day, catching small bass...26 to be exact. No gilts turned up though. The mullet didn't want to know...again feeding on the pesky brine shrimp. All fish were caught with my home-made mullet spinner rigs and were mouth hooked...and returned as good as new to the water. If there hadn't been so much weed, I reckon I would have caught a lot more. I tried various mullet spinners and one design definitely outshone the others in my small home-made collection...so lessons learned along the way. I have the same-make bombardier floats as yourself, and always find that after a while they lose their buoyancy...have you found this?? Got back home knackered but a happy man...lol. All the best and good luck for the future.
Yes the micro Bass well done 👍
Great vid as always Bassman …. And my name was the first to be pulled out of the err bag 🙈😆! Blown away. Your time, effort and resources are always appreciated, the content does not come for nothing. Thanks for the chance to buy the excellent rigs and therefore enter the competition, a fantastic surprise.
Well done cheers top man 🏆 The rod is being posted out Monday for Tuesday, your address has been given to the sender Blackrock 👍🎣🏆 Thank you for supporting mate great prize Bassman 😎
Never seen gilts caught like that, I think you were quite surprised too. Must take my box of meps (dating back to the 70's) with me next time.
You should! 😁🎣
Nice one chaps. Well done to the 3 winners of ya competition. All the best from G.Y
💚💚💚
Good to see you all enjoying the fishing there at the creek. I know this spot well, and it can produce good fishing on the day. Unfortunately, the mullet were gorging on the brine shrimp...and it can be awkward to snap them out of feeding on anything else. Still, at the end of the day, you all caught something and Jon was rewarded with a good sized mullet there, as well as losing a good fish. It happens! It's always a buzz to see the mullet up close like that, even if they're not taking so well. Also good to see the gilts showing up, even if they are small...it's still a good feeling to hook into something! Anyhow, congrats to the winners of your competition, and keep these type of vids coming....we all love 'em!
Cheers! 🍻 next time I’ll try shrimp cocktail with Mary rose sauce maybe 🤔 We knew what was going on smashing the wee prawns, if anything the spinners where spooking the mullet not attracting them, I’ve caught more than a few there hehe biggest 2/12 😁👍
Hit and run babe unlucky
Big weight there shame it was brutally brief
That's amazing thin lipped mullet on the spinner well done 😊
Yes, thanks 🙏 😁
Very good
Thanks 🙏
Brilliant vid mate. I know the area where you fished. Can you fish it over low water there? And also are you using hardbacks in the vid? Cheers bud 🎣
Cheers 😎👍 Lows not the best time imo 🙌 Be careful, no your limits, always check your way out
When you were talking about rag worm then showed that bacon sandwich I honestly thought you'd lost the plot and cooked them 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤢
Yes the Sherrington!
🏆🤩
Get on Bassman..loved that . We're out this weekend again on the Teignmouth estuary...Mini Bassman will be strutting his stuff again lol .. Cheers mate 👍
Sounds great! 😊
Great stuff! Have you done the draw for the rod yet, Sir?
Umm did you watch the video ? 🫣
@@bassmansbountyfishing yes, sorry, I sent the message before the end.
I've seen more fish lost chasing the the fish with the landing net, it was a common thing in the 60's to this day to sink the net then draw the fish over it and lift, that said it was a nice fish .
🤣Jon was on a very light drag playing the fish in very shallow water, we are relatively new as fishing pals so didn’t want to mess it up for him, I usually land my own fish as does Jon 😊👍
Mate, it's all about the squid size 10 and above for what you're doing. I've fished mallorca a few times now ... had some monster wrasse out off the rocks !!! You've got to be quick on the rod 😉
Thanks for the tips!
Another great video, bassman. Cheers and tight lines.
Glad you enjoyed it 😎👍
Nice vid. Thanks for posting. What’s deal with fishing the quay? I was there today trying for mullet but conscious of the large sign saying a £50k fine for unlicensed fishing.
🤣🤣🤣 no idea never seen it 😳 Probably aimed at the NETTERS! fish on 🎣😊
Thanks for the 3rd prize Bassman. The best thing for me was the laugh it gave my Wife and two boys. They took photos of the TV screen to forward to their mates. We all fell about, we couldn’t believe it! Made my evening! The video is good too, a whole new way of catching gilts.
Absolutely BRILLIANT, can see it now 🫣🤩 📺 🏆 Yes the 9 coarse rig taster menu upgrade just for the comment and family commitment 🍲 🎣😁 11/10 😵👍
@@bassmansbountyfishing Cheers Bassman!
Great video ! Plus a great surprise to get a prize thanks very much ! Looking forward to my move to Devon in August . Tight Lines
Anti tangle sleeve 50mm long keeps every thing away from the controller float
Interesting, thanks.
Excellent info cheers 😎
@bassmansbountyfishing no problem mullet fishing is exactly like carp fishing same tactics works a treat want to try surface fishing for them floating bread 3ft trace and a controller float
I’m christening my new blackrock continental bass in France on the west coast at the end of the month! I bought the only one I could find! A lovely rod I gotta say! Anyway, great angling that! Nice session in a lovely location 👌
Thank you brother for mullet fishing video
No problem my far away fishing bro 👊 🌍
WELL DONE GUYS AND THANK YOU ALL FOR ENTERING THE DRAW 🏆🙏😊🎣🎩 NEW COMP ANNOUNCED VERY SOON!
Where was the location of this these fish are amazing
South west coastline is full of reefs and beautiful Ballan Wrasse 😊👍
Dream fishing
Lovely fishing ! thanks for my Wrasse trip - great fun .
Glad you enjoyed it yes it was firing! 😁🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Delighted for Phil to hit his target. Yes the hundred percenter! Get in!
Cheers 🍻 😊🏆
Re: Using a leader. I just use 25lb Trilene straight through. No messing about on the rock and no top eye/weed on leader knot hassles. The caveat to the 25lb is that I'm fishing extremely rough ground.
Nice 👍 I’ll stick with what I know, the 21lb fluoro is very abrasive resistant down in the gulleys 😎👍
Great video! I do a lot of wrassing here in Cornwall with hardbacks. We're all aware of the proverbial 50 pence sized hardbacks but this year I've been experimenting with large, palm of your hand sized crab cut in half. Results so far have shown that the larger crab baits attract the larger fish.
Yes big bait big fish scenario Try crushing a big one slightly ☝️ 🤐💨
Well done Phill. Lovely fish. Nice one Paul from G.Y.
Nice one cheers the G.Y San Miguel connoisseur 🍺
Good session,missed the sandwich tho
McDonald’s morning session 😎👍
Just amazing colours on these wrass.. Beautiful! Great fishing too!
Thank you! Cheers!
some many nice fish is a small area!! what a session
Yes it was! 👊
Great video. My method for wrasse is a boom rig with 2 booms, 2 short hook lengths of 4 inches and king rag
Sounds great! Try crab for bigger fish 🎣
Some cracking wrasse there mate 💪. It’s amazing how difficult they can be to hook at times 🤬🎣🐟
Tell me about it!
Are you just using hardbacks or peller ?
Hardbacks 💪
If you are exactly where I think you are that’s another stiff walk in the heat! Great video again mate
You got that right!
Yes the Bassman! Great wrasse video 👍🏻 Can’t wait for your next one 🎣🎣
Thanks 👍 😎🚀
Nice one phil what a cracker
I hope it's saltwater in the Rockpool ( joking) Nice fish well done
🤣👍💦
Brilliant bassman, congrats to phil. Cheers and tight lines.
Thank you 🙏 😎
