Hey what's going on? This venerable veteran (D-Day aged FIFTEEN???) wrote a song. In the middle of his great singing, he was cut off. It was like promising a Beef Wellington, then given crumb, and told to p-ss off... (PLEASE let us know how we can hear more of this hero!) 🇬🇧👍

Also, Ireland is a completely separate country from Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is part of Great Britain, Ireland is not.

I wish them all and salute to my cousins "chow hounds" (a nice term, with good intentions) . I was Infantry a long time and learning to cook and enjoy it. LOL, I have my "learning" issues, but go back to Infantry, anything that has more than one color is a great day (and clean water!). Take care every one. I wish you all well.

I think this was the first season I watched/binged when the pandemic hit. The local food from a place I didn't live, everyone so happy and proud of what they were sourcing and making... it was really lovely watch in the moment! Still have some season gaps here in the States which we'd watch whenever we find them.

I wonder if the powers that are doing this show encourage the chefs to be as nasty as they can to each other as this seems to be the trend through the series no matter what year it is done in,
I heard Simon Rimmer say something along those lines on the episode of his podcast that featured Marcus Wareing...the producers wanted to encourage nastiness. You can also see that out of the the narrator/presenter.
I totally disagree! I'm so used to the kindness shown by GBM chefs to each other on recent series that I was actually shocked by how rude these two were.

Binging these feel-good episodes and seasons got me and my spouse through lockdown. Just loved the creativity, passion, and getting to know these amazing chefs. Even the ones that didn't make it through left an impression!

I know I prefer chicken to rabbit, I have eaten rabbit before. It was called Pel-freeze rabbit bought in the supermkt. I have not seen it in years.
