His talent is immeasurable, with a great voice and the Amazing songs he wrote that will be stamped in time forever. Sir Toby had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. I saw Toby 9 times..in Pennsylvania..what a great man ,.took my mother with me .she passed away in 2019..i just don't understand why god took him so young..i will remember all the concerts i went to.i ment him in Allentown fair.i stil have the picture.on my dining room wall ..

Remembering Toby. In my early 20's, I was playing minor league baseball up in Medicine Hat Alberta Canada, for the Toronto Blue Jays. If I remember correctly, Medicine Hat had one music station and it was on AM radio. Every night before the game, they would play that music station over the stadium speakers and that was my first introduction to Country Music. The song that would become one of my all time favorites and the one that would switch me 100% over to country music, Should Have Been A Cowboy and it was July of 1993. What a jam tat song is. I never forget😢 when he got his start. First saw him at the state fair. Didn't know that he would ever make it that big, but boy was I wrong. He blew up still one of top singers. It broke my heart 😢 when he got sick. Still love him as one of the biggest acts around. Much love.❤

While I was a huge fan of his music in my early 20's back in the early 2000's I only saw him live once at Country USA in Wisconsin. I fell away from music the past few years but always enjoyed his songs when they did come over the radio. When I heard he was sick I thought, he'll beat it! When my wife woke the day he passed, she woke me and said, "Ohhhhh...Toby Keith passed away". I thought it was sad and knew he had been sickly with cancer. The past week I've struggled to comprehend and didn't think it would hit me so hard. But I appreciate who he was and I think anyone who's listened and enjoyed Toby's songs over the years probably has a little bit of who he was in us just by design but also because of his music. RIP Cowboy, I'll miss you!
