We were established in 1998 in the UK to help the Sikh community discuss abuse, a taboo subject. Over the years, we’ve recognised that abuse doesn’t discriminate by ethnicity, age or gender. Poor, poor girl! Can't believe the cruel mother too. Very brave of you dear Navdeep; parents are supposed to protect their little children not abuse them sexually, psychologically and physically. How awful to treat any little girl in this way, let alone your own daughter. I hope you can heal in some way and the rest of your life is relatively happy as you deserve all the love and support from everyone.

It's heartbreaking to know so many young girls/women have to manage unprocessed heinous acts forced upon them and many are probably trapped by a cycle of social/cultural stigma enforced by the very same mentality abusing them. Unfortunately in often lawless pockets of rural India/Punjab, I have heard that many men feel its normal taking advantage of females & MALES Such a sad state of affairs. Please explore the fact that young MALE Indians have also been subject to sexual abuse and find themselves in a stigma riddled dismissive crossroad similar to young girls.

Ive been following these guys for years. The Sikh people are a very proud and honourable people, true warriors it sickens me what these vile pigs in the cult of pisslam are doing to all of our children. This has never been about ‘asian’ men, call it what it is. We know who is responsible. The MSM would rather see Sikh men and Christian men at each other because it helps their fake narrative of racism everywhere, but both of our people see through it and are standing together- we need a louder talking call so we can get together easier and organise. As a Christian, veteran and a father, I would help any Sikh father to protect his daughters and to the bitter end. Sexual abuse within families especially in Punjab is a very common phenomena. Many Punjabi women have been sexually, emotionally or physically abused in their lives and allow the trend to perpetuate. When families migrate to the west they are expected to sponsor all of their family even extended. So now instead of being a good parent to your own child you are focused on meeting the needs of people who can take care of themselves. Too many times so creepy cousin can abuse a child and no one knows. As for her mother and telling her daughter she is the other woman and is asking for it. Her mother is more than likely a victim herself and that is no excuse. Also the lack of education in older Punjabi women Leeds to them repeating all of the abuse they heard as children to their own kids without thinking too deep into it. It is best to just cut them off before you see the same demons in yourself.
Older Punjabi women are not incompetent projecting their own treatment onto their daughters. Have you considered there could be an element of jealousy that their generationally restricted lives are not as open and allowed the same freedoms as younger Punjabi woman? Granted there is a schism of awareness here but this has left older woman nonchalantly parenting their daughters with unprogressive stagnated guidance and young girls/woman looking to society for moral/social/cultural guidance which is fraught with equally stagnated but dangerous individuals. Sikh people need to break out of the apathetic "Its in G-ds hands" or social stigma fallback and become actively involved in protecting ALL females within and without Sikhism or Punjabi culture.
You missed a stage. My experience ... a 13 year old boy befriends the 14 /15 year old ... he then introduces her to the older boys .. who then ply them with gifts ... then force them onto the old men.
