the template didnt fit right because your drawing was from two flat circles. drawing a plane between the two created a oval shaped pipe. couple different ways to draw it round, but it still ended up close enough. would be a bit more critical if it were thin wall

Thanks. We did not do much testing other than Butt Dyno. Matt thought it felt more punchy down low. You may be right on the 02 readings, but most sensors dont survive long under the high heat and pressure of pre-turbo exhaust in my experience.

Exactly, Only really beneficial on a v8 if you’re running twin turbos and all 4 of the runners on each side are the same length and paired together at the collector based on firing order.

Trying to find out why this is more expensive than the hooker turbo manifold. Is it better or worth the extra money?
@FSP33 жыл бұрын
Hooker is a nice product but requires you to build connection from their header to your turbo, places the turbo too far forward in many cases, and is ductile iron so will rust and is difficult to weld. Their v-band connections are also non interlocking, which is not always the best seal for turbo applications. Ours provides a compact and direct mounting provisions for the turbo that works well for many common applications. Cast from 304 stainless steel means it wont ever corrode and can be welded by anyone with a basic mig welder. We also use a male/female vband for the cross over to help with sealing and locating of the cross over. Also Made in the USA and includes high quality gaskets to seal everything up nicely. In the end, it really depends on what the end users application, budget, and goals are.

Excellent work. I don’t like the tank the throttle opening should point toward the top of the plenum rather than right at 2 of the ports. I’m sure that it will do really good. I have to think those cylinders right behind the throttle opening are going to flow drastically more air... example of what I’m talking about is the Holley hi-ram they do that for distribution.
