    crazy how much can change in 5months.. i now use the Corvette for max distance golf lines of around 500ft in tailwinds.. if a crazy tailwind i got her to 600ft like 1month back.. for headwinds distance i use the Halo Destroyer which i can get out to 450ft into a strong headwind

    I consider the Rollo a speed 6. The rim is so fairway it's not even funny. I have a weak flick and this thing has added a ton of distance.

    Nice video! Not sure why you think there isn't a big difference? If you can flex shot a Berg X but not a Berg, that's a pretty big difference! Our review will be out in the coming weeks to explain all this

  • @DaddyDelpDiscGolf
    @DaddyDelpDiscGolfАй бұрын

    Thanks! But I mean, to me there isn’t one. The difference is very small in the type of line. I actually bag berg x now because of a challenge I did 😆. I throw it for all the exact same shots I threw a berg for. Took berg out and only difference I’ve found after bagging for months is it’ll handle a forehand a tad bit better. if I throw it on a big anhyzer it holds it nicer. Guess it’s per person because everyone I’ve played with says the same thing too after they have started bagging one. Just better for forehand control. I would call a big difference something that hyzer flips and turns as opposed to having to force something on anhyzer to hold it.

    I use 5 molds of varying degrees of beat in stability with a few utility discs. They cover every shot I need. I like less molds for the familiarity of the feel in the hand. Here is the list of 21 discs of 5 molds with a few utility discs that come out in emergencies or wind conditions: (2 - 174g D-Line P2s, 1 - 168g D-Line P2, 1 - 176g P2, 1 - 175g C-Line P2), (1 - 175g Dx Roc3, 2 - Beat in 180g Dx Roc3s, 2 - New 180g Roc3s, 2 - Champion 180g Roc3s (1 Beat In & 1 New)), (1 - 166g Star Leopard3, 2 - 175g Star Leopard3s, 1 - 175g Halo Star Leopard3), (1 - 175g Champion Thunderbird (Beat In), 1 - 175 Halo Star Thunderbird), (1 - 168g Pro Destroyer (Very Beat in), 1 - 170g Pro Destroyer, 1 - 175g Star Destroyer), Utilities (1 - 175 K3 Berg, 1 - 175g Star Toro, 1- 170g Champion Firebird).

    I’m a complete beginner, only having played a few rounds so far, but I bought this specifically for forehand throws since it has such a slim profile. I think it works great for it, I’m still at the level where my forehand throws are a lot more consistent than my backhands though 😅

    Just bought this disc to replace a Jade I lost last week. On paper they match up well but I realize that doesnt guarantee they will fly the same once I finally try it out. I bought it in the Fission plastic. I havent thrown it yet but just gripping it, feels ultra slick, even more glossy than a Star plastic. Im kinda worried it'll slide out of my grip a little early. Hopefully it'll lose some of that sheen after I throw a couple rounds with it.

    I just recently got the glow champion toro and instantly loved it, in fact I had no doubt saying it just beat out all discs that could be my overstable approach disc. I have loved it on all approach shots I've thrown it on. And haven't got to throw it yet, but also just added the new Calvin Heimburg Halo Star toro to my collection

    I’m convinced that DGA sent the PDGa the disc numbers first a completely different disc. It has a 9 speed rim. I’d say it’s a 9-6 -1 1. I bought for a super under stable driver and ended up with my favorite driving disc. Like a 9 speed crave. It owns the title of “my best drive ever on this hole” on a lot of holes around here.

  • @tonykaze
    @tonykaze3 ай бұрын

    If your disc isn't reaching stable flight (where it is neither turning or fading) you're not throwing with enough speed / spin. This one was nowhere close. On that first throw a Crave (6.5 speed) would have probably gone further with a lot more consistency.

    Definitely a tough course if you miss your tee shots and scrambles. It’s really alot of placement off tee for scoring. Doesn’t take a bunch of distance really. Mostly rewards being accurate from my experience. Now the gold layout they have, it takes distance and accuracy to score

    The Passion is the only discraft mold I bag. It flies like a straight-stable mid but gets driver distance. It has a gental, forward fade and lands soft like a midrange. I honestly love it. Never had a domey one though...

    Okay, I will have to admit that the Stig which I really love is not quite Kaxe Z it is more understandable. I got the new Kaxe (retooled) it reminds me more of a Kaxe Z. It doesn't appear that they really replaced the Kaxe yet.

  • @DaddyDelpDiscGolf

    I mean when i reviewed the kaxe z i actually liked it better than a kaxe. But thats just my preference. And with stig I just got very similar feeling shot shapes and all.

    I need to find flip discs because it seems the best way to hit close gaps..I throw flat and use it the disc to use it's flight for my control

  • @DaddyDelpDiscGolf
    @DaddyDelpDiscGolf4 ай бұрын

    Yea, for me it kind of changes what I do for gaps. Sometimes I do think that it can be easier with flippy discs because you can power down and still get a straight flight. The first key is hitting the gap, what the disc does after you hit the gap is another worry once you’re confident in hitting the gaps. I’m generally alittle better at hitting gaps on a flat release over a steep hyzer but there is times where I throw a really flippy disc on hyzer for a gap when i need to hit gap then get late flip down fairway. But at that point I’m not playing safe either, lol I’m going for a lot of holes now when I play so I’m a being alittle aggressive in a lot of my tee shots
