  Soo people got mad at a mod in what can be described as alpha stage. All that's left here is some polishing work, bug fixing and a genuine art pass through the levels. While not easy, definitely doable. It's not HDTF on any level, so idk what kind of crack the guy who compared this mod to it have, but he should stop taking it.

  This mod feels like a big fever dream of a Portal fan with all the underused ideas, different art styles clashing together, weird nonsensical story and awkward dialogues... it's not the worst thing ever but it's just trying to be too much at once

  4:41 the model in the image seems to be using the portal 1 core model so porting over the portal 1 core model to portal 2 has a possibility to fix it

  12:03 The flashlight kind of sucks with the darkness. Not a fault of the mod of course! I wish there was more options. I wonder if the light came up as a vibrant yellow or orange if it would illuminate the darkness better. That would be cool if you could wear some sort of automatic tactical light on your HEV Suit. Where it would use the auto-aim function to spot enemies and illuminate them and you just fire. Also, I read the Read Me that said "There is a hidden secret behind the vending machine and two gnomes hidden throughout the map". LOL I read the Read Me after I finished the map since I already knew how to install the map. I have done it hundreds of times in fact I understand it too much LOL.

  Another game that uses the Source Engine that doesn't have a lot of user maps that have been made for it is a game called Infra. I wanted to mention this in the event of Half-Life 2 being fairly "Dated" in terms of graphic capabilities.

  0:55 That would be a good joke to put in a Portal mod or map. Not a "Haha Funny Joke", but "Haha Oh No". When you get to the next area Glados drops a Companion Cube from one of those vents and a human arm holding a knife falls out with the companion cube. Also, if you are looking for other members for your competition there are two websites that could perhaps help with that. TWHL The Whole Half-Life they have modders upload content and problem solve mapping issues. The other website is Thinking With Portals Portal 2 Mapping Community.

  Fun fact: that hand model for the portal gun (2:15) is actually textured in the xbox 360 version And it's still in the games files, the vmt just, doesn't have the right location to where the hand texture is

  Why did it took so long for you to make new video? Anyway i'm happy that you made a new one. Getting into topic of video, it seems like a interesting and strange idea at the same time because you are testing someone's brain and inteligence capablities presenting the test at the same time in fun and nice visual form. Overall i never seen that combination of visually looking nice test with exercises to test someone's brain to eventually assign that person into programming very important stuff etc. and that makes for me very interesting topic and idea. Edit: I didn't pay attention at the fact that the well-known Source Engine helper has been assigned to do this mod.

  was kinda busy irl, so that pushed back this video back abit, i wanted to release it in like early to mid February but some things came in between yea it certinatly is interesting, would be cool if this concept was ever expanded into a full on standalone, longer, more challenging game in the future
