  Isn't it easier (and safer) to set the proc power plan maximum to 99% ? It also turns the turbo off.

  Yes you can. But disabling turbo from BIOS is good because sometimes your powerplan can be altered by some game or software

  @@tech-info i tested today with an i9 12900h and the power plan method failed. So i launched Throttlestop to disable turbo, it works this way. I rebooted, to be sure, the setting is kept.

  @@vincentprimault4380 Ok, I think we need to reapply (reopen) throttlestop settings after each boot. Best to disable from BIOS.

  Thanks for the tutorial. I followed it until the "system properties" section because Windows still had to install my display drivers, otherwise I would still have a black screen upon booting my laptop. Maybe It works differently for Xe graphics cards.

  My processor supports the turbo boost feature (i5-1035g1) but i can find it in bios settings and theres only vtd and vtx options in advanced menu, i updated all my graphics driver and bios versions but i couldnt solve it, is there any way that i can enable turbo boost in bios? (Acer aspire 3 a315-57g)

  You can use a software called Throttlestop to enable/disable turbo. Plus, you can watch tutorial to turn on/off turbo according to your laptop/pc model.

  We cannot do much to boost booting time [although try updating NVME drivers, disable start-up app, most imp -> create single partition (only C: drive) ]. This tutorial is for reducing shut down time.

  I installed it pretty recently and its going pretty well so far, but I have noticed that after running slmgr /dlv on command prompt it tells me that there is a volume expiration of around 6 months?
