Super killer build. Dig all your scratch building!
Thanks, Kurtis. It was great to finally complete this build. It took a lot out of me for completing it (start to finish) in 2 months. I’m finally wanting to build again. Hope all is well.
Looking really good. Thanks for sharing
I just came back into the hobby, and also live in Colorado. Looking forward to watching your videos to hopefully help me moving forward. Been years since I've built anything. Take care, hope to be watching more from you in the future.
Welcome and congrats on getting back into the hobby! Please check out all my other videos as I have build videos, how-to’s, and tips/tricks. Thank you for becoming a subscriber. Enjoy the hobby!
Beautiful build.
Thank you.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING bro!! You done him proud buddy!
Thanks a bunch, Mark! I appreciate your comment. Definitely have learned from your videos.
I watch alot of model car videos but have never built a model car I'm pushing 50 years old I restored a couple full size f250 and 350 ford idi diesel pickup trucks. 1 time at Kmart years ago I seen a model car on the shelf and mom bought it for me when I opened the box at home I was so disappointed the white pieces of plastic looked nothing like the pictures on the box. It's amazing to me you fella's work with so small of parts making these models look so good.
Thank you for the compliment, and thanks for watching!
David R Lentz, USA I am looking for build and super-detail videos, toward learning techniques to improve my car builds. I am new to your channel, and though we have different tastes in vehicles, kits., etc., I thought I experientially might profit from your greater expertise. I prefer to build factory stock, showroom new, original parts and paint colour scheme. I chiefly like the later Ford Model T series from round 1920 on, of 1:25th-scale kits from AMT, Revell (and possibly others); the Tall T, roadster, coupe, sedan, turtleback, pickup truck, sedan delivery, and others. I wish to present the lot of them in a streetscape diorama dramatising the usual traffic flow down a fairly busy avenue of a town or a small city in central Ohio roughly a century past. I also will include some models of other automobiles (if I recall, I saw in a KZread video a 1925 Chevy sedan or coupe). I also will include a few newer ICM kits of the Ford Model T series a decade or more older; these will show modest signs of greater wear and hard use-nothing too heavy, of course-necessitating an appreciably different effort to reproduce the finishes necessary for that effect. The next difficulty will be to assemble, paint, weather, position, etc., all the buildings, the figurines of people, the trees, the telegraph/telephone poles, etc. As part of the background, I would like to find a 1:25th-scale kit (actually, several) of the de Havilland DH-4 military biplane, which in the 1920s (along with the DH-4B) served the U.S Postal Service as a mail carrier. For that matter, I also would like 1:25th-scale kits of the early combat aircraft of the Great War of 1914-1918, especially for their civilian uses shortly thereafter. A number of these, repainted in bright colours, I understand their pilots had used in aerial acrobatics in public shows (“barnstorming”) across the USA and western Europe. These likely would require the newer ICM kits of the Ford Model T’s I mentioned above. Some of these war surplus planes are 1) the SPAD XIII pursuit aeroplane, 2) the Nieuport 28 fighter, 3) the Sopwith Camel pursuit, 4) Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5/5A scout-fighter, 5) the Albatros Flugzeugwerke Albatros D.I pursuit (the last [of the company’s] fighter to see operational service with the Luftstreitkräfte [Imperial German Air Service] during the First World War); 6) the Fokker D-1 and 7) DR-VII fighters. These (and likely others), repainted in bright colours, their pilots had flown aerial acrobatics in public shows (“barnstorming”) across the USA and western Europe. And whilst I am thinking on it, perhaps 1:25th-scale kits of the a Boeing B-747-8 Transport, and the Lockheed C-5M Galaxy USAF Heavy Airlift Transport. These of necessity will have to wait till I have a bigger place, though . . . .

Hello my brother. I love how the car came out. I'm sure your grandfather will love it. I am deeply impressed by the work you did on the engine, That is easily my most favorite engine don't of yours!
Hello, BG! Thank you very much for the compliment on the engine. It was a real mail biter finding parts to complete it, let alone, get the serpentine belts to be spot on for functionality. I am very happy to have completed this build, and ready to move on to the next!
