Outdoor adventures taking on new challenges and looking at some interesting car builds whilst currently using my own modified Dacia Duster 4x4.
Overlanding to places throughout the UK and sometimes further and taking in some views while I am there.
Constantly adding to the Duster and also have some other vehicles in my garage that are being modified to go and explore.
Hope to add more in future and taking on new adventure and challenges.
Check out on Instagram @Ellison_adventures for previous adventures and recent activity.

Good video! What fenders you are using?
The fenders are from SKS
Hi my friend. I buyed duster like yours. Can you give me some advises which options 4wd lock, auto, esp of or on where can I use successfully?
I use auto everyday driving and then lock if need for muddy roads or slippy surfaces with esp off and a good set of tyres
Got one from new 71 plate , due to work cutbacks no use of the pool cars so have had to use duster to get to different locations in the UK so clocked up 98k , its been reliable, excellent mpg it has everything I need and more , sat nav, Bluetooth, had it regularly serviced using dacia parts , oil etc,all in all I would not hesitate on getting a new one, it's diesel all I have to do is fill it up and add blue , well done dacia
if youre going to keep it, modify it the way you like and want. Otherwise just sell it.
Enjoyed your video! What kick stand do you use? I would like to put one on my Bridge Club but I have read Surly don't recommend using one on the BC!
It is a cheap Amazon one I found that bolts around the rear of the frame but I’ll be honest it’s not great
Think it looks great, I’ve always thought that base vehicles are much more honest than the high line models and I really like saving a few dollars. the Dacian and the Panda are two of my favorite European automobiles.
All user error 😂😂 jair git a 2019 prwatoge hopefully i will get no issues.
Oh yes user error without a doubt, that’s why I can’t understand the badge snobs
Of course you can tour on a 500, i toured thousands of miles on a royal enfield himalayan over 5 years and that was a 411 single. A 500 twin is a doddle compared. If it moves you can tour on it 👍
Agreed, some people think they need to be on the big GS1250. I also have a push bike custom built for touring 👍
Yeah indeed, weather is joking us! 5 minutes rain 5 minutes cloudy and 10 minutes sun😮 Uk weather thank you for your video! It’s amazing
Nice video mate, what awning are you using on your duster? :)
It’s from Direct4x4 it’s about 6 or 7 years old now it 2m by 2.5m
Great, great! We are thinking as well to buy a Dacia duster! I can wait for it! Very nice area there, maybe we will go as well! This weekend we was in Wales Great view there as well
Nice where about in Wales did you go to? I’m looking to head there for a few weeks later this year
Where is this location? We can have acces on there?
Stonethwaite Farm & Campsite located near Keswick in the Lake District
@@EllisonAdventures thank you
New here, I subscribed Nice 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Yeah f that
🤣
Great vid. Nice scenery
Thanks 👍
Hi mate just found you enjoying your content. And only right I have subbed. I retired. Don't ride now .but enjoying all the bike videos. Old dave (Sunderland. )
Welcome aboard!
Nice video, enjoyed watching.. GoPros can be a pain in the ass
Cheers. Your not wrong the amount of times in the last few weeks I’ve been looking at DJI’s instead
Enjoyed that👍👍👍
Glad to hear it
What size tires are those and what kind are they? thanks boss
They are the Panaracer SK plus and the size is 27.5” x 1.75”
That's one really good setup for bike packing 👍👍
Thanks 👍
It's a great setup but a front and rear rack with panniers has nothing to do with bike packing
I have same bike and same plans for 2024 as you 👍 Enjoyed the video and liked/subscribed 🏍🏍🏍
Awesome, thank you!
I enjoyed this, I've just bought the non x version, absolutely love it! Mine was an ex demo too, 600 miles on her and £4k......bloody steal! Travelled wales on my enfield himalayan last year, cracking trip, now planning wales on the benelli. So excited 😂
Awesome, I’ve got some more planned for the Benelli this year, just got back from Salisbury and the lakes recently so will be some more videos coming soon
@@EllisonAdventures I'll be watching 👍
Cheers for sharing, hope to see you back next year.
1.5 d 2014 on a/ts is interesting on fast corners traction kicks in!
Ye I get the traction light a lot but that probably just my heavy right foot
Looks like an awesome weekend 😊
It was pal, one more race to end the season but plenty more adventures to be done before that
Dacias are no nonsense cars, no bs like a lot of cars, nowt wrong with them.
Beautiful hike from start to finish 😊hello from Australia 🤩👋
Thanks pal, few more to come soon
Such a beautiful and serene atmosphere my friend, thumbnail is just amazing!
Thanks, definitely one of my favourite places to head to
Well. I fitted it. Broke many nails and ruined my hands. 😅. But you didn't warn me about the throaty roar through the snorkel. Its a bit loud. But I'm good with it.
Haha brilliant
I love the duster modifications. Can I ask where you had the snorkel fitted. I have one to do but not confident doing it myself at least not without a fair bit of guidance.
It was done on the drive with abit of help, I bought the snorkel off eBay many years ago but didn’t fit it for the same reasons and no template
@@EllisonAdventures no template with mine either. So it's going to be interesting.
@@kassie3647 get a bit of cardboard and try to copy the outline and bolt holes and then cut out the holes on the paper and make sure it matches up, then tape the paper to the car and happy drilling
@@kassie3647 also make sure you have the right size hole saw for your drill, I got a kit of them from B&Q for about £25 I think
What's the dimensions of your roof rack bud? Wanna try sort something for mine and yours looks like a good size
It was 2m by 1m, I had it made just for the awning length
Hello Ellison love the bike, wat kick stand are you using ?
I’m not actually sure which that one is, I’ve tried many with the bridge club frame set and can’t seem to get one that works well with the bike
It looks amazing, love the scenery also. I was thinking of getting a duster how do you find them in terms of reliability?
I did a lot of research before buying one, think I did a video on it last year but ye the only issue I’ve had is replace the battery but to be fair that was my fault due to trying to run a fridge from it and it eventually gave up
You've been busy! Looking tidy 👍
Cheers pal
D'ya mind me asking where abouts you're from/located? I'm looking to buy one of these and would also like a couple of mods, I'm in Wigan. I'm a huge fan of the steels that come on the access rather than the alloys of the laureate. Is a lift kit necessary to accommodate the mud tyres? I also love the tyre noise 👍
Hi pal, I’m also in Wigan. The lift kit isn’t needed for the mud tyres I just did that to increase ground clearance for green lanes and also the option to put bigger tyres on later. The steel wheels I have are tuff torque as mine is a laureate and has the alloys but obviously they will break if you hit something on a lane.
@@EllisonAdventures I figured you might be fairly local, I can't believe I've never seen you about!! Once I pick one up I might pick your brain about where to get some bits for it. Cheers pal
@@danpaul4975 I’m currently in the process of changing mine around at the moment
I would love a long term review of the Sandero..am thinking of getting one
I still have the Sandero, it’s one of the first models in the UK from 2013 and still going strong, I’ll see what I can do
Instead of being artsy with the video, why don't you let us see the bike for what it is?
If you wanna see the bike in action then subscribe and hit the notification bell as we are currently planning a few trips out with it, thanks
The first like is from me. I become a smile in my face when I see your Dacia.
Cheers pal, some new updates on the duster will be coming soon. I have plans for it but reluctant to do them as with the current situation with fuel in the UK it sort of seems pointless and I also have some other projects in the near future planned
Typical Walney weather haha
With the Dacia lifted, have you had to replace many CV joints?
No nothing, the only thing I’ve replaced due to faults is the battery and indicator stalk so far
A useful review! Being cheaper cars its good to finally find a review that talks about the longer term reliability. I would be interested to hear more about its credentials as a car for green laning.
Check out some of my other videos pal, I do a few green lanes in the past
Just watched all your lakes adventures. Really inspiring mate, give me some ideas for my own trips .. Thanks for sharing , subscribed 👍
Nice one pal, more trips to come. Just organising some new equipment and getting the routes nailed down, see you on the road 👍
@@EllisonAdventures looking forward to seeing more of your adventures... yep hopefull see you out there dude , tek care 👍
Performance Awesome
i cant believe im watching Awesome video 😛😋🥰
He helped me more in 11 minutes, than my therapist in 1 years
Which bonnet guard are you using your Duster? I like that it doesn't seem to have a gloss finish.
It’s from Amazon but when I have just checked my orders they don’t seem to sell that exact one anymore, however there are others on there that appear to be similar
Much love from 😋👌❤️
Share it guy
you did great job 👍👌😘🥰♥️
This video takes me back to the 90s. I love it
