That blue LMS Fowler Class 3F really looks like the Rev. W. Awdry's second model of Thomas, but without the gold tip to the top of the funnel & without a number 1 on the tank & always light blue.

Worked as cleaner and fireman at STJ,quite a few 28’s and 38’s there.They were used on the coal trains and iron ore trains.Good engines to fire.Never seen on passenger trains then.

48305 LMS William Stanier 8F 2-8-0 was return to steam beginning of 2001 until last ran out of service boiler ticket in 2011 and then will be back to service in May 2019. 30777 SR King Arthur Class 4-6-0 BR green and then changed into light green livery in 2012. 42085 LMS William Stanier 4P 2-6-4T was left GCR. 73156 BR Standard 5MT 4-6-0 was first time to GCR in May 2009 for overhaul until October 2017 has return to service. 63601 LNER 04 2-8-0 from 2002 until last steamed in 2012 for boiler ticket gone out of service.

good morning , have been looking for footage of GWSR 2807 at this Gala , may I have permssion to use 3 bits of excellent film to help us create a promotional video to use on our stand at GWSR galas . we want to show her on other HR's and she visited 5 so we have good material and coverage . i was at Quorn when the GCR gave the GWR all its takings on the sunday , most generous . Have been looking for good footage 2807 's boiler is now at Riley's in Bury and she has started her 10 year HGO .so we need to raise funds fo the next 10 years when she runs from 2021 we hope , mnay thanks john mayell - chairman 2807 FLA charity , GWSR member 14 years email - [email protected]

Sounded great at bromsgrove. I’ll never forget travelling from Cradley heath to see this. Caught train to bromsgrove then walked to Vigo. Waited for ages at Vigo. I was the only one there. About two hours went past and I was still the only one. So I checked my phone and realised I was a day late 😂

This is my favourate steam video. Beautifully filmed, inside the cab and outwith.Sound is excellent. Perfect loco for this line, looks to be working hard. Watched it so many times always a joy, great job all round. Thanks.

Excellent video. I was able to video 'Sir Keith Park' and '92 Squadron' when they operated on the Watercress Line earlier this year. Great finish with the double header!

After failing on Thursday, the standard 5 was the star performer, but unfortunately it failed again on Saturday.

Very nice early morning shed scenes. 92214 looks terrific bursting under the bridge. That choholate & cream set matches it nicely.

Unfortunately entry into the shed area has been banned. This is the closest we can get. Another victory for H&S. 92214 was in fine form after it sprayed my friends and I with soot!

Is that a new covered freight set they have built up ? I visit GCR every year and don't recall seeing such a decent set as that before.

What an amazing display from The Duke! I've never seen a faster steam engine climb of the Lickey, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been a faster climb. Let's get him back on the tracks again and soon! Cheers. Ken
