  i watched the video. it looks like a build problem. even if they were more than 200 meters apart, i don't think the results would have been that different. but if i had done kush, i would have lost.

  cuz they have no javcav, crappy missiles, and their cav sucks impossible to kill enemy missiles and u lose cavfight --> u lose they are very good against some factions, but absolutely hopeless against others

  i dont see that working as u will just get overwhelmed by superior numbers. peltasts are expensive. My biggest mistake here i think was trying to fight everywhere at once, which u dont want to do when he has more/better cav. I want to engage on one flank where my inf will eventually win while slowing him down on the other flank and pressuring with tarentines maybe pelts could work but i think theyre too easy to avoid

  phenomenal content! so much detail and insight i think the coolest thing i learned from this was the quick charge blocks on enemy cav with the jav cav. its a bit tricky to time, but is so satisfying to land successfully. i can only imagine the frustration of my opponents when their cav stops right in range of my missiles after being kissed by a very light jav cav hihihi watching this inspired me to revisit Suebi and to come up with new strats and tactics for using them. so much fun, with such an interesting faction. if you do make another vifd like this, i would love to see one on Pontus. you seem to know it well and its very versatile/interesting as well peace

  glad you liked it. yeah, that shit is really funny to do but it is really micro intensive. Ive tried implementing it more on other factions. especially like tarentines that can take a charge so even if u fuck up its not uber bad. Pontus is cool. Problem with doing these videos is getting enough footage to explain different concepts. Because they fucked the replays, I'm sitting with very limited amounts.

  no, the units were exactly equal. Stationary wedge is really good against single enemy unit charges, because the stationary unit gets the first attack, and charges in RTW are shit unless it's a slice/chargethrough.
