I had hernia during both my pregnancies. The pain is horrible. You look healthy, you are totally fine when sitting, or laying down but standing or walking is more than awful! And I immigrated to the US. Doing immigration or applying for a visa legally is an extremely expensive, extremely complicated and very humiliating process. I feel for both of you! I really do!
I would love to hear more about your Bulgaria medical experience. I live in the UK and I am worried about getting medical care with all the problems with the NHS right now, but private healthcare is so expensive here. Is it something you'd do again (if you had to have more treatments)? Would you share the cost comparison? The standard of care comparison?
Hey! Raya here but just wanted to say Louis loved his experience. He stayed in the hospital for 3 days (while here they would have sent him home same day) and the cost was 1/5th of the price of private. Also he’s been messaging the doctor on WhatsApp and sending photos of scars etc for continued care. He said he would definitely do it again if necessary

Just try again, look through documents yourself and you will get there. I got my citizenship confirmed 2 weeks ago. It was a long journey but worth the freedom 😊

But while you’re getting denied a visa they let 10 million illegals cross over the boarder, give them $3500 a month, housing, food and debit cards with $10k. Yeah this is fair to you both

You are number one world’s best idiot .ur talking about keyhole surgery which happens daily and is easy to recover from unless ur a whimp …you’re first operation ur making it sound big three hours for keyhole I don’t think so I know a person who had a knee replacement took one and a half surgery .god this guy what a winger .didnt even wash himself before surgery.he looked grubby …try having a baby a recovery Mr ….cant stand these winging people

Wow, what a crazy time! Thankful you're ok. Someone told me for every hour you're under anaesthesia it will take that many months to fully recover, mainly fatigue. I found that after a recent operation which was 3 hours.
Love seeing your little family growing and Neo changing so much. So sorry you have experienced those health issues. Good to know you are doing better.

Glad that you were able to have the surgery and that you are mending. Very frustrating about the visa situation indeed! Life really does throw us into loops and its all part of the process of being able to roll with it. At least you have each other and there is so much love there!

I'm so sorry for everything you have been experiencing as troubles, both racist (migration) policies and health issues. It definitely sounds like a lot to take on. Remember is OK to not be OK for a while. Mantaining an "always happy" attitude can be exhausting and in the end feeds a lot of resentment. Lots of love for your family! I've had a few hernia operations in the last few years. You have to watch out carrying things from now on. I think I have another one and I'm trying to ignore it as it isn't a big one. I hadn't had an operation in my life either before. It did take a while to recover. Glad everything is OK now. You were lucky when Oso jumped you.
I am curious on why Bulgaria for surgery?
It’s not right that Raya got rejected for her visa when so many immigrants come over on the boats with no visa and then get to live on the U.K. rent free in hotels with free food and they get given an allowance and free WiFi. UK not a fair country. I am just glad I left the U.K. Sorry for the rant get well soon Louie. Hope Raya gets the right visa at some point.

How does that work? Do you look around on the website to get surgery done?
I notice the problems that Raya has in securing a visa for permanent UK residence. You are going about it the wrong way. Here's what to do : 1 Go to Calais ( France ). 2 Get on a rubber dinghy with some of the highly skilled workers coming to England. 3 Mid-Channel, throw all your documentation into the sea. 4 Get picked up by Britain's illegal immigrant taxi service ( ie, Border Farce ) 5 On arrival in England, tell the cops you are a muslim fleeing persecution in ( name your country ) and you are claiming asylum. 6 That's it - you're in the UK for good and no-one will be able to get rid of you. NB - This has worked for hundreds of thousands of people over the past two decades, so it will work for you.

Glad you got through your surgery Louis, my son at 2 months had to have a hernia removed from his belly button so now he hasn't got one

I live in Japan and you just have to be married. We looked at living in the UK (I'm British), looked at the weird, elite attitude to getting family visas there and just laughed and went "nope". Our kids are British, I'm British, but The UK government are like "Who's this freeloader?" to my wife and want to split us up for the delight of living in Blighty. No thanks, I'll keep my money here.

You flew to Bulgaria to get a hernia operation? Oh my goodness, I am appalled at the NHS. My mother has been left with a spine problem, needing surgery and cannot walk. She's just been put on a waiting list. It's carnage.

Glad you're on the mend, Louis! We went through the 5-year UK spouse visa route too - successfully first time, thank goodness. I don't think people realise how expensive, perilous and complicated the whole process is for a UK citizen to bring their spouse here to live - that's even if you meet the ever-increasing income requirements that are making it literally impossible for some families to be together., even those with children. It feels like a topic, from a personal level, that would really fit your channel. I'd love to see you explore it.
