  With the take off altitude and speed truing off the switches will not address the issue because the trim will not work while trying to pull the airplane nose up(no enough altitude, no time and high speed) so there is no option to save the plane.If they have enough altitude yes you right but that is not the case they just don't have enough time and no other option....
