20:27 the rocks really weren’t needed - they took away from the beautiful ocean and the colors and the wave- Not sure why artists are always painting in big boulders and rocks in their seascapes- ocean paintings - there’s no rocks looking out at the beaches- Rocks take away from the focal point of the waves- the surface waves and the color of the water- and are too distracting- too busy- Here the water color is so beautiful now taken over by those big rocks- and the rocks all along the bottom of the TUBE of wave now takes away from the beauty of the wave- Looking at an ocean and or wave painting - should be about color scheme with its sky- and a vast depth of field with surface waves in background- coming in with smaller crashing waves mid ground - and that focal point- a long tuned wave- with shadows under tube- lighter as goes up with eye of wave - and shadows under and in and around the foam -(vary colors even have some on top of white foam splash) Followed by - beautiful reflection in the sand and white clear water coming into the sand - No need for trees- rocks - boulders - houses - hills - etc 20:27 here the water colors are so beautiful- if the big wave was moved up more and have smaller surface waves in back- and no rocks A wow what’ a wave would be- and having small amounts of the greens- oranges- yellow- dotted in and around the white foam with shadows under-/ Please John consider a new tutorial of this one as above- thank you

Makes one wonder if Juan Luna was John Lisondra in a past life? Both had/have light, reflection, shadows and mist down to perfection.

31:54 please consider another painting like this- from this timestamp- mid ground green like you have it and foreground field of poppies/ (impression of poppies - not detailed - This is so beautiful!!! Wow!!! My favorite! The foreground block in hues are great choice- John can see and imagine the scenery and his brushstrokes along with his ability to see and mix colors makes his work’s unique and stand out- Johns videos are mesmerizing to watch him with brush- those clouds appear right before us- magical! Bless you John-
