1989 was the first year for the extended cab short box pickup & the last year for dual glass headlights which makes that pickup unique. Rewind to 1988 when extended cabs were introduced, they only came in long box models at the time. 1988 was also the first year for that body design.

Mountain People aren't exactly church going People. Not much north of Park City Baptist church. Looks like a fun family trip though. If you buy property in Montana make sure you have all your water rights and mineral rights in order before signing anything.

When I was 36 years old I had a heart attack and died 💔 they bring be back in the ER but what i saw changed me forever and I'm now 63 years old ,I ask God to let me live long enough to raise my 2 sons that were babies at that time ...God's hand's held me and he granted my wish and sent me back to my family 👪 . God of Abraham is and always will be my King .I'm glad God blessed you brother and I saw his sprit in your eyes .

@@squarestatetrucks welcome and thank you for sharing your story and life 🙏 I'm in the Philippines right now with my Philipina and I love old campers , I sold my 2005 24 foot camper and My 2020 Ram 1500 last February to come back to the Philippines , I will buy another Camper in 2026 when I get back in the states ...I live the RV life full time in America but I have a house in the Philippines , no taxes lol . My girlfriend has a store here that I built her 7 users ago . God has blessed me to live 63 years and with a good retirement . It's worth 4 times the amount converted to Philippine pesos . 1k usd is 58k pesos . My Honda bike cost 5k there and 2400 here

The Dreamer camper is supposed to be worth 13K by itself according to JD Power. Conditions depending and some new tires it's all probably worth 40K. That's still half the price of a Sprinter Van camper. If you paid less than 30K you can't loose money on it fixing it up I believe.
The camper needs a little work to the roof, but thankfully, it's not too rotten.. Appreciate the comment and support!

@@squarestatetrucks yup try all the vacuum lines are good and tight plus check timing chain think they have. Nylon cam gear and they jump....engine a monster and gulps fuel with aero of a brick

@@squarestatetrucks FWIW, I enjoyed the opening. Haven't heard that in a long time. And as to those plastic junk gas cans I say pitch 'em and buy a couple Wavians. With a flexible nozzle. No, they ain't cheap-but they're worth every penny. Coat the bottoms with some bedliner and your kids will inherit them. Great kids, great rig and may you all make some lifetime memories in it together!

Those square bodys are prone to crack frames especially the k10s
GM definitely had some issues with that, especially around the steering gear box.

Cool truck then I can tell it was a 77 just by looking at the side of it it's the only year square body that has the yellow paint in the chrome trim instead of black ?
Thanks for the comment! Sure appreciate it. You're correct about 1977 and the Ochre trim! One of my Favorite years. There is also one Special Edition truck that had molding that was also not black.. The 1975 GMC Gentleman Jim came with Yuba Gold molding from the factory. Thats the only variation otherwise
Serviced and drove a gentleman jim in 1976. At GMC dealer.Named for Jim Garner who used GMC s in Rockford files tv show...
That is the first Quadra jet that I see on a Chevrolet that has the fuel line coming straight through the front . Buicks . Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs have them like that . Chevrolet normally has the fuel line going in from the side.
Good observation! The fuel line entered straight into the front of the carburetor on GM Truck 454s from 1976-1978. Small blocks didn't change during this period. I actually had to look back at pictures of all the original engines we've had, and everything original I could find in GM literature and in the interweb. All of our 76-78 Big Block trucks are this way. Thanks for the comment! It was fun looking into that!
