  Is this the 2.1 Stroker 8V MK1 built by Sarel 8V Performance? I wish to have a setup like yours in the future, Correct me if I'm wrong does your mk1 run late 13 seconds or 14flat on 1/4 mile? I currently have a 1.8 8V ADZ but converted it to 1900cc with 83.5 mm pistons, balanced 1.8 Crank, Big bore sub, 300cc injectors, Bosch 044 fuel pump, 282° regrind cam, High rev kit, swirled the valves, match ported intake to head car makes 97kw and 178nm currently running 14.8 on 1/4 with semi slicks

  @@adrenalien.7783 Thanks hey but I want to run 13's like your setup but I know it won't be possible for a little 1900cc 8V but I love it because I outran many 2.0 8V with headwork and 288 cams, My wish is to get it to 108kw with ethenol mix, I'm not changing my intake I like the single intake, I'm just going to fabricate an adapter plate to fit a Ported VR6 Throttle body with 350cc injectors and Solid lifter 300° cam

  Even with a 288 cam on a VR6 12v it will still sound like a motorbike,infact all VWs fitted with a 276 cam and above sound very unnatural

  Really?! There must be something wrong then because NA cammed and modified performance motors should idle quiet and smooth like a stock 1.4 🤔thank you so much for informing me! I will call my tuner right now and tell him to sort it out

  How hard is it to fit a 298 in the 8v head? I heard from people that you have to shave down the inside of the head to get it to fit? People were saying 288 is the biggest you can go before getting it shaved down to fit the big big cams?

  Work were required for the 298 cam to clear. 288 cam clears perfectly though.
