  Hi👋 I would always use an extra 3 inches just in case of mistakes. I would bead an extra quarter to half an inch extra depending on how tight you braid the chains so you don't lose length..Hope this helps. Thank you for watching

  @@manisha-colorcreativityartwork if you use normal resin not UV then yes. I was told that UV Resin also works with sunlight but not sure if it's true.
