  @@StalionJosepher basically, you do 3 times primo de rivera speech to boost fascism. When the civil war starts, you don't click which path you go. Then you open decision and hold a national referendum, because all the democratic and commie support disappears when the war starts. After you held the referendum, now you can click which path you go. But be aware, if you want to play Falangist Spain und Rivera, you need to wait 7 days more, because if you are fascist and Sanjurje is alive, Rivera would be retired as well, if he is the country leader, when Sanjurje dies. That locks you out from doing the Empire focuses. Still genius that Rivera can rule the country, while he is imprisoned...

  If you wanna avoid war with the soviets you must never take control of the states they have claims on. I've had it happen once that I took over Chišinau during a war and the soviets instantly started justifying on me. Sometimes they would only justify on the states they claim which I would then simply not take in the peace deal so their justification cancels. But sometimes they just pick a bunch of completely random states which makes war unavoidable.
