Just to clarify, that isn't an oxbow lake.

Thanks for the info, I looked into this before I posted the video and I kept seeing this particular feature at Cuckmere being described as an Oxbow. I would love to know the correct name if you know it though cheers!

@@rx10ivtimeYeah so it's nearly an oxbow but not quite. What happens is the river keeps eroding the soil until eventually it connects with itself further down. You can see this happening on the left where the land between the water is very thin. Soon it'll cut through and the river will flow that way as a shortcut. That cuts off the big curve on the right which will be isolated as a little lake. It's called an oxbow lake because it looks like ox horns with the curve and two spikes.

@@rx10ivtimeThey're a common feature and there probably are oxbow lakes already around this place. As I say, this will become one in a few years but not yet

Sweet video man. You know I always struggle recording myself. Do my best with what I can but it would be easier to be two people sometimes. But whoever snapped this for ya did a great job and presented you well. Keep it busking bro. I'll probably bump into you again somewhere sometime.

Hi, thanks for your lovely comment! I just happened to see this guy playing ( @AugustRadioProject ) and asked if I could film him, it was totally spontaneous but I was pleased with the result and luckily so was he!

I need a camera with a 600mm range, but I've only recently found out about the Sony Rx M4 camera! In your opinion should I get the Sony Rxm4 or the Sigma 150-600? Use is to make funny youtube videos with hidden camera. Quality and Bokeh are essential.... So which one should I choose?
@rx10ivtime Жыл бұрын
HI, It is a difficult choice because there are pros and cons to both, but for me it came down to the convenience and versatility of the RX10, you can go from close up to telephoto quickly without having to change lenses but in my experience the RX10's 1 inch sensor does not match APS-C or Full Frame sensors for quality, especially in low light or if you want a really shallow depth of field. Thanks for your comment, I hope this helps.
