omg bro i decieded to replay this game today since on my first playthrough i felt like i missed alot, and damnn this game is so fucking shitty and dark, even more than dark souls because at least there characters get some happy endings like suigward, but in this game just everybody dies not even the kids are safe
The thing is, James had hope till he found the truth......but for Angela, even though she didn't know anything of the Town and what power it holds over people....she had no Hope, she had no intention of getting out, it was all the same for her. It was all fire from beginning, why would it be any different in the end?

Disbanding Team Silent and giving the games to Western devs was Konami's biggest mistake with this franchise. These guys were geniuses and this game in particular was special. I am really really worried about what Bloober Team are doing with the remake. The character motion and animation look terrible in the extended trailer. 😒

I swear, SH2 isn't a game, it's art. There's so many "flaws" people can point out to say why it's a bad game (UI, controls, voice acting, etc), but being a fun game isn't the reason for it's existence. All of it's design is to make you feel something, not to entertain (though it does both very well). Ironing out those "flaws" would only make it lose it's soul.

The music samples don't have perpetual lisences and they would probably have to renegotiate or go threw Sony to again to republish the game because they owned the libraries to begin with, and is probably why it got taken down to begin with

I understood SH2 as it came when I played it when I was 17 yrs old my life has been pretty extreme I started school at 14 years old and finished high school by 18 yrs old I've been a social outcast my entire life until recently that couldn't/didn't speak because of my childhood While before I played the game I had a similar experiece with a woman and was tormented by her and her image and basically got thrown out of church and hated by everyone for something I didn't do made me realize a lot, a lot I can't put into words/don't have the time to both that life experience and the game was almost like an end of a chapter in my life
Funny thing about the wax doll is the first time I played it my line of thinking was to use the lighter to heat up the horse show to melt the wax and there would be a useful item in inside I laughed my arse off when I accidentally did it right same thing with SH3 and the bug thing

Finally someone said it!! It took me years to fine some dirt on this game. Everyone seemed to praise this game as perfect but I've always felt the first game did everything and more way better. I can't hardly look at TEW2 without wishing there was more of the first one. The evil within filled that void of accompanied insanity and mystery where the second game is well kinda just a game.
Wtf happened to Fungo? Who is this weird guy? Go back to Twin Perfect and talk some shit about the upcoming remake.

I love everything about Silent Hill 2, the entire melancholy of the story, the isolated environments, the characters, the music, the sound effects... It is a masterpice, the best of the franchise.
