    @ReignDGF 1 hub should do all the fans, if youvare buying any triple packs of fans it should come with a hub and each port on that hun can handle 4 fans each (16 in total). I had no issues at all getting cables connected, if anything I would say the space at the back of the case is a little more restrained than my last case which was the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh, so cable management was a little bit more difficult. What cables from the case are you having difficulty hooking up?

    @@BrisyTechBytesI had purchased 5 individual fans, noticing now I should’ve purchased a 3 pack instead (singles were on sale though!), so I only have 1 hub. It’s the cables for the Front I/o, from my understanding it’s so the buttons can control the fan rgb? It just seems that in the current orientation, the cables would not reach the specified locations in the mother board. I think it may also look really messy if I use those cables as well.

  • @BrisyTechBytes

    @ReignDGF so the front IO should have a male SATA power connector for powering the inbuilt controller and a 3 pin ARGB connector if you want to hook it up to your motherboard and use its software, in my setup I don't have it hooked up to the motherboard as the colour and pattern options of the inbuilt controller are pretty decent. Should also point out that in my setup the inbuilt controller only controls the PSU shroud RGB and the NV5 Premium kit which I added. With regards to the fans if you do have one of the 4 port fan control hubs from Lian Li then you should be good to hook up all fans to that, attach it to an internal USB header and SATA power connector and control everything through L-Connect 3 software.. It's obviously all down to your preference though, you might actually want to control everything through your mobo software but thought I'd just explain how mine is set up.

    I was wondering whats the best way to wire everything. Right now I plan to get the Galahad II LCD, strimmer GPU and motherboard v2 cables, one 3-pack reverse infinity fans, a single reverse infinity fan, and a single infinity fan. My motherboard is the B650-A Asus board. My case is also the Phantek nv5 (needs USB2.0 header and ARGB?). Do you have any suggestions on how to plug the cables into each of them? My concern is how to wire everything including the connectors. Also afraid of number of headers on the motherboard might not be enough for all the USB 2.0 headers and ARGB. Thanks!

  • @BrisyTechBytes
    @BrisyTechBytes5 күн бұрын

    @John-ie2fw I was similar in struggling with the lack of USB 2.0 headers in my motherboard so ended up buying tge NZXT internal USB hub which works perfectly. I also ended up buying the Lian Li UNI HUB SL INF Connect 3 Controller to replace the one that comes with the AIO, done this for a couple of reason, one is that this Controllers uses the proprietary connecting that combines both the power and and RGB cables you get on the fans at the moment, the hub comes with replacement cables you can just swap those out, keeps the cable management cleaner...also this hub has an additional 2 ARGB connections for things like the strimmer cables and because of this the controller requires 2 sata power connections. Just noticed that you said you bought a 3 packs of reverse blade fans, this controller might actually come with those fans, I had to buy my reverse blade fans separately, didn't think you could actually buy these as a 3 pack. Should also point out the my case RGB (rbg around the PSU shroud and NV5 Premium kit) I just wired in to the cases built in controller and use the case buttons to set that. All the Lian Li components are controlled with the Lian Li controller.

  • @John-ie2fw
    @John-ie2fw5 күн бұрын

    @@BrisyTechBytes Thanks for the reply! Ah you are right, I don't think there is a 3-pack for the reverse fans. In that case what would you suggest? So the plan is to buy 4 reversed blade infinity fans and 2 regular infinity fans with a total of 6 fans. Would I then use two controllers or a single one? Can all 6 fans fit onto one controller? How would teh AIO connect to these controllers? Are you also familiar with the Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 cables as I believe that one also comes with a controller specifically for the cables and wondering how to wire this up. Will I also have enough ARGB for all this plus the one for the NV5?

    @John-ie2fw just to check, you said you are getting the Galahad II LCD AIO...is it the 240 or 360 one you are getting? And the 6 fans you are talking about does that include the fans on the AIO?

  • @John-ie2fw
    @John-ie2fw5 күн бұрын

    @@BrisyTechBytes360 AIO. 6 fans not including the ones on the AIO as you have it in this video. AIO with three fans on top, one in the rear, one reverse fan on the bottom, and three reverse fan that arefront mounted. So sorry it should be 5 not 6.

  • @BrisyTechBytes
    @BrisyTechBytes5 күн бұрын

    @John-ie2fw ok got you....so the controller that comes with AIO will be able to control all fans, each port on the controller can handle 4 fans. I'm not too familiar with what comes with the strimmer cables but if it does have its own controller then it should just be a case of using that controller for those cables but will probably need it's own USB header and sata power supply. Then when you eventually install the Lian Li L-Connect 3 soft those 2 seperate Controllers should appear in the software allowing you to modify everything that's hooked up to them. So you'll end up needing 3 USB internal headers, one for the AIO screen itself, 1 for the fan controller that comes with the AIO and one for the hub that comes with the strimmer cables

    @jaymurray6051 my setup is slightly different as I have the RGB premium kit installed, but for the case only you should have all the wires leading from the RGB controller built in to the top of the case, there is a sata power cable that you need to attach to your power supply to provide power for the RGB. There should also be a cable that connects to the RGB strip around the PSU through, from memory this was already connected. Last thing is the RGB connector that you can attach to your motherboard RGB connector if it has a compatible one, this will allow you to use the motherboards RGB software, if you don't want that just leave it disconnected from your motherboard and use the buttons on top of your case to control the RGB.

Was gonna go same cooler but ended up going nzxt kraken elite. 7800x3d strix b650e-e board and went with phanteks revolt 1000w platinum with phanteks cables with the metal combs looks really good. Built it the other night bk in box now ready for Christmas. Havnt got a gpu yet as seeing if 5080s come out before Christmas. Thinking of adding the argb light kid and the argb vertical mount same time. Only don't think you can tilt it in the nv5 case

    @deanpartridge9545 I actually think you can tilt that GPU bracket in the NV5, there is another video on YT of a guy doing a review of the RGB kit and I could swear he had the phanteks vertical bracket and the GPU was tilted, will try and find it and leave a link below kzread.info/dash/bejne/lJ-kk7OdmbDbc7A.htmlsi=EbRirwMIgMdy7F3o Fellow Scotsman should be thanking me for the extra views he's going to get on his vids 🤣

    I got these exact fan, looks like my pc doesn’t detect the rpm of these fans. I can sync the rgb. I can only manually change the speed using the remote. Is there anyway to let my pc actually control the fan speed ? 6 diy fab fans n 3 are artics fan

  • @BrisyTechBytes
    @BrisyTechBytesАй бұрын

    @luckydepressedguy8981 unfortunately these fans are not PWM fans so can only be controlled through the remote control, I know they done a similar fan bundle which are PWM fans and the RGB is slightly different, from memory they only came as a 5 pack too when in most cases you'd want 6

    @@BrisyTechBytes just figured it out, thanks for replying man. Im running 9 fan on my pc. When “control” the fan to max speed only 3 out of 9 fan were on max speed and it bothered me 😂. I can buy 6 more non rgb pwm artics fan for cheap or splurge more money for pwm + argb. Is there such a pwm fan that doesnt need the 3 pin argb? Or its just pwm + argb? its annoying to manually change the pc fan speed and it bothers me when my suddenly 3/9 of the can become louder with im playing some games. Had to manually speed up the other 6 fan haha

    @luckydepressedguy8981 how are the other 3 fans set up, do you have them attached to seperate fan headers and rgb headers on your mobo? Sounds like your gonna have to buy a different set of fans which are PWM fans, lots of choices but for what you are looking for control wise you'll probably need another fan RGB and power control hub. Plenty of choices too for non RGB fans that'll only have the 4 pin power connection on them, just all depends on your budget of course Have a look at the Deepcool SC790 hub, that thing can handle 12 fans, bough one for my son who has the NZXT H9 Flow case so needed something to control the 10 Phanteks D30 fans we installed to it

    Hi bud cracking video. I just built very similar build in nv5 to yours for my son. Only difference is I'm using sl v2 fans. Just wondering if you had to take radiator out to fit the argb kit at top. As I just ordered one cheers 😊

    Thanks much appreciated. I bought everything for this build at the same time so managed to fit the RGB kit first, should still be possible to do without removing the top radiator though...hopefully 🤣 Hope your son is enjoying the new rig 👍
