The problem with haas is they have no ass behind them. Just programmed a VF2SS for some hogging out on aluminum and I could rough 3x's faster on a VMX series Hurco.

Cool. But how are you going to get around the fact that at some point the operator is going to have nothing to do at times? Ive worked for a lot of shop owners that can't stand to see someone sitting still.
Most shops, including AMI Machining, don't be the robot to replace a person, but because they can't find an additional machinist, or operator.
One day I asked a salesman in a store to let me handle the Rick Hinderer Knives product. It was XM-18 Wharncliffe. Now I own 4 knives by Rick and one I gave to my Brother, he is happy too. I think, RHK are the best knives ever made

Interesting video and seemingly nice products. But why have a web site with a giant list of products that are "out of stock?" There's page after page of products and the majority, without exageration, are listed as out of stock. Is it to peak the customer's interest then, when they fill out the "Email when stock available" form, the product is actually manufactured so only very limited unsold stock is kept in inventory? 🤔🤔🤔 I've seen other KZread knife/pen makers who have a similar business model. If a product is really in demand and it's out of stock, that would be my cue to manufacture some.

Apparently they are extremely popular. Having visited their facility, we can attest that their production is going full throttle. Didn't see a single person sitting still and every single CNC was making chips.

I'm surprised they can drill on the ST20Y sub spindle, on ours, drills keep chipping because the brake shakes.
