For quite some time now, I've been thinking I'm silly for crying over Glen's beautiful voice, it just gets me. HOWEVER, I'm seeing more and more folk have the same thing... I don't think we can help loving him.. What a loss to the world he is.

I was in high school when I first heard this song. I never thought it would always be popular, and it is lovelier each time I listen to it. Glenn Campbell's rendition is beautiful.

...I first heard this sung by Johnny Rivers .... and I loved it then. ..still a great song, ... Written by Jimmy Webb ,( who wrote so many songs , including " Wichita Lineman ") ... I love both versions of this Song. ....And for those younger than myself.... The band " Midland " just performed this song recently, at a Concert at The Red Rocks. ..and did a fine job of it.

When I first came to Nebraska in the US, this was one of first records I heard there. I was 16 years old and went to high school in Wakefield -our english teacher really tought me so much. Shortly after I moved to Boulder Colorado and there i lived with Troy & Rosa they led to the Lord and I was saved.
