I have yet to be able to watch this scene without breaking down. This deadbeat is exactly like my biological sister who is beyond a deadbeat. She has been sporadically in and out her sons his life since he was born. She left him as a baby and every few years she'd see him for about 2 hrs max and disappear for years again. He's been raised by my mother and I since. He's 16 now and it is beyond painful to see how he speaks about her and how he tries to cope. It absolutely kills me. She also abandoned her 2nd child. A beautiful, brilliant baby girl, who's now 14. She never even bothered with the sporadic pop ups for this one. She left that baby and never looked back. I'll never understand how a parent can do this to their children. It's absolutely devastating.

Jokes aside, I’m confused about how that worked. If her being a minor means the prenups are invalid, doesn’t it also mean the marriage itself is invalid? So how is she entitled to half of the wealth if, by the law, they were only dating?

I haven’t seen my father since I was 12 years old. I did all these things Will talked about by myself. I taught myself everything. Now I have a beautiful family and high-paying job. I hate my father so much for bailing out on me, abandoning me. But I pulled through and became a better man than he could ever think of being himself.

I can relate to this because my father left me too. So growin up I felt like this like I was unwanted and not loved and scared to open up in fear it'll go the same way as my father. But I grew to find good things in myself and care about me from my own eyes and not the eyes of someone who left. But it was hard I'm not going to lie. To know that someone who is apart of you jus left because he wasn't man enough to take care of his responsibilities as a man isn't something to be sad over or about. The main reason why I want to be a father to a little boy because I want him to know that jus because basically your grandfather left doesn't mean I'm him. I wanna say to him that he's my son and he's worth more than he can realize.

It’s fraud. She lied about being an adult. She lied about on her contract. She entered into a marriage contract as a liar, so he can accuse her of fraud and he actually has a right to sue her and confront her with legal action.

The hurt many of these Black women cause their children is so sad. And to make it even more painful, they were probably done the same by their fathers. Little girls, please see what happens when you choose a low-life!

It is a shame that we live in a modern generation where people on the internet said *fatherless* as an insult. That phrase needs to be put down for good because these people never seen this scene before and it hits home for anyone that didn’t have a father like him.

"I have far more rights in criminal court than I do in family court. Catch me if you can feminism" Just like those who got blood clots in my family from the poke. Myocarditis has 3 to 10 year life expectancy. We you have 3 to 10 years to live, your no longer afraid of 25 to life. Why there are not a line of men waiting outside court, ready to do what Leonard Warwick did is beyond me. Most men I know who don't get custody and lose their money and live in their car just kill themselves. The others stay with cheating wives so they can be in their kids lives and let the wife open the relationship in 2024 so she can eat pray love with her personal trainer. And they wonder why men don't marry anymore.

Yeah. It's the ultimate indicator that he is officially dead to him. The moment he walks out that door, Will won't be seeing his worthless, lying face again. And it continues for the rest of the series. In one instance when Carlton is arguing with Will and at one point draws a comparison between him and his father, Will retorts that he is nothing like him. The very idea of being compared to an uncaring, cowardly, lying waste of a man is enough to piss him off. Will has finally saw his true colors by that scene and he never wants to see him again... and to say he deserves that would be putting it in the lightest way possible.

Make me feel sum. Never made me cry bc I’ve shed so many tears about my own absent pops it feels redundant atp. Will is right. He don’t need that bum in his life. It’s sad, you can cry if you need, and it ain’t how stuff is supposed to be, but all we can do is dust ourselves off and keep going, find manhood on our own.

I'm white, and I'm saying the white man did this - or should I say the Democratic party. In the 60's, the Democrats decided to totally emasculate the black man by making him feel unneeded and useless by concocting a cradle to grave entitlement system that MURDERED the black family. Fucking sad.
