Sorry but I absolutely couldn’t stand any part of the two films. Watched them once and I’ll never return. They look amazing at times and the soundtrack is (mostly) amazing, but to me there’s nothing beyond that surface. The acting belongs in a Marvel movie, the plot belongs in a dumpster. There is not one interesting theme and not a single character came close to relatable. I have no idea why people can say honestly that this movie “changed cinema”. Maybe for the worse? It’s like saying Captain America movies changed cinema. That’s a joke

I am a huge sci Fi, fantasy, and world building nerd. My girlfriend only watches reality tv. Watching this in the cinema, with my entire friend group, and all of our girls friends actually excited and talking about the lore and world building was peak

I wonder who invented, built and maintained that fountain behind him, the concrete around it, who planted the trees surrounding it, the cell phones people are using, the bicycle the man is riding, the manufacturing plant that made his clothing, the paper and marker he made the sign with, and the camera this was recorded on? Half of the world can do it. Their one and only, so why are today's women rejecting the one thing they do well? Even then women don't create life (or resources for that matter). Those eggs of yours are dead. That's why you reject one per month after it drops, and even then you have a limited amount of them and a limited amount of time to use them. Inside of men however are 80 billion living cells. Women can't give birth until men inject life into them. Yet even then women only have XX chromosomes. Men create men AND women, AND everything else in the world.

My only complain was how raban died. I was expecting a solid minute of an epic show down between raban and gurney just going at it, exepct it ended in seconds. An experienced veteran general doesnt just die that easy, but other than that the movie was near perfect.

When Shai Hulud came out of the sand storm my jaw dropped from how incredible and awesome it looked. I cannot remember a recent time where i was this immeresed in cgi. I don't know what the production of this movie was like, but i have a feeling the cgi artists were actually given time to cook (i hope so 😬).
