Man, what a heavy tune... those horn stabs literally live rent-free in my head since I first heard them in a DJ vs. VJ show called "2Step" on German music television station "VIVA 2" around 2000/2001. Instantly recorded the show and replayed it on repeat on my VCR (with even making an audio copy of it on my MiniDisc player for "outdoor use") but it took me quite some time in those infamous pre-Shazam days to find out what it was and have to give many thanks to Mr. Scruff for showing this raw funk jam on national TV to a nerdy hiphop/funk/dj-kid in the rural countryside of most western Germany :)))) Here's the show BTW.
