My ender 3v3 se has been a nightmare one thing or another been an issue. Got it new about 4 months ago I've waited more for parts then it actually running. I got a used but good neptune 3 pro from elegoo not one issue besides adjusting the wheels and I messes with cura settings too much but it has been a champ and a beast. I think I'm done with creality don't get me started on my ender 3 pro I did every upgrade to it being even worse

Hey Tom, question on you choosing .08mm vs. .06mm height on the .20mm nozzle. Do you find the difference is immaterial or issues arise? You're doing such great work and your presentation/public speaking is top notch. Thanks again sir!

.08 will produce cleaner miniatures, .06 does worse on overhangs and has more surface defects.

Reduce nozzle size setting, then the Arachne simplification isn't so drastic. The slicer can think you have a 0.2mm nozzle when you have a 0.4mm one on, there is no harm from that, as long as the perimeter extrusion width is at least 0.42mm for a 0.4mm nozzle. I actually think Bambu/Orca path decimation is way too aggressive in Arachne mode. Also since you're printing miniatures: outer perimeter first, else the existing inner perimeter which is printed earlier will tend to push the outer perimeter out and round it out. Arachne is at a quasai disadvantage since it will be able to put perimeters on sharp features closer together. Yeah i know, overhangs disadvantage. I don't have a perfect solution for you. We need new algorithms.

Great video. Without taking it all apart, can you tell if it's not installed correctly? Do you know if Creality corrected their installation process to ensure this doesn't happen? I just got a KE model and it's 9 months later than your video. Thanks

I received my Ender 3 V3 SE yesterday. Assembly was easy and fast. I turned it on and after selecting English as my preferred language, it automatically went into leveling without me having to select it. Leveling was long, but straight forward. I did my first print on the magnetic removable print bed. I don't like that base. I had great difficulty removing my print, and when it did come off, the underside of my print was very very rough, like 80 grit sandpaper. I have an Ender 3 V2 which came with a tempered glass bed and I love that thing so much. I decided to buy the glass bed for the new V3 SE, but had issues installing it. The clips I use on the V2 does not fit on the V3 SE. There is a additional black layer on top of the metal heating base and that makes it too thick for the clips to fit properly. I bought some binder clips at an office supply store to hold the glass bed on, but that makes the leveling procedure difficult, the binder clips interfere with the hot end as it moves across the bed. Bought some smaller 19mm binder clips, which I hope will work.

Whether it needs to come out, or go in, gently pressing downwards with a fork on the flat side between legs and tube makes The Bowden Tube simple to work with. It also may spark interesting conversations on a dinner date for two if this is done prior to sitting down at the table. Feel free to share your story if this works for you.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out my underextrusion+stringing breakout and even went and bought a direct drive which I ended up returning because I realized it's the coupler that failed and my hotend probably has filament in there from clogs. This is so very concise, very easy to see everything and you have a calm and reassuring tone that helps ease the tension of not knowing what I'm about to do.
