    Sergio did have a very beautiful swing. I see a lot of him in Rory. I thought he was going to be head to head with Tiger, don’t know what happened. I’m glad you have this channel analyzing swings so people can see it takes an enormous amount of skill and talent to hit the ball like professionals.

    And moe put the grip through his lifeline of his right hand. He also sat into his left knee and had more vertical drop than Bryson. Moe released the club earlier than anyone who has ever played the game. Watch Jack Kuykendahl. You can learn the huge differences between the two.

    My héros ! When I try to make that, my driver shot is more easy and the results come. Not in distance, but at the impact very square and regular 😅. That’s all what I need !

    Big dummy was slashing out to win. Next the majors started toppling. Why did he do that. He was winning without the distance. That’s about a good six years thrown away.

    As a 3 time Ryder Cupper, 3 time winner and 3 time runner upper (loss 3 playoffs won one) on the European Tour and top 20 golfer in the World, McGinley's critique has a lot more weight than Chambalee's brain fart. McGinley lost and won in similar situations on tour for decades. Rory wins multiple times per year and all but wins Majors. The stats and results show he is putting much better over the last 5 years since working with Faxon. But obviously, to seal the deal from less than 5 feet, not as good as Xander Keopka, Bryson, Scheffler or Woods and Faldo in their days. Obviously his swing mechanics are good enough to win majors (also 1st in total driving at US Open). What about hitting driver off 18 when he hit the fairway 3 days out of with 3 wood? No swing mechanics involved in sticking to your game plan. None. Putting: he missed the 4ft putt that he stood over motionless for an age after his eyes got to back to the ball, and then the weak prod on the fast l to r 2.5ft putt on 18 where the blade did not close naturally. The pressure (which is extreme) got to him on both. Needs to stick to his routine, staying moving and commit to a free flowing stroke (as he does on longer putts which where excellent).

    Good news from the future...Post US Open (mid June), Scottie Scheffler is number 1 for putts/round and birdie conversions; been winning a lot of tournaments.👍

    His right arm is straight and away from his body at setup but bent and tucked into his body at impact, a conventional position, but certainly different from his address.

  • @abigfatelf_ttv3438
    @abigfatelf_ttv3438Ай бұрын

    Definitely correct. However I think he's mainly referring to the shaft and forward arm ........that being said his rear arm is tucked, it both positions but in the actual impact it's loaded fully

    IMHO: Xander 2022 reminiscent of 2009 TW laid off swing(fade) Xander 2024 reminicent of 2005 TW draw swing slightly across the line(draw)- - matches up to his draw preference/tendency.

    Need evidence that golf instruction doesn’t work? The instructors can’t fix a generational talent like Rory Mcilroy or Jordan Spieth. Need more evidence? There are instructors who have had the opportunity to help Tiger Woods, possibly the most talented golfer ever, and they couldn’t. They actually made him worse. And they are STILL relevant in the industry and STILL thought to be ex-pert. And the instructors can’t play. Case closed.

    “Strong face, shallow shaft, and more rotation” is NOT better for the average amateur. What is best for the average amateur is what is a FIT for them. And that could be a more open face, a steeper shaft, and less rotation and IS a large amount of the time. Despite all the advances in modern technological measurement devices, golf instruction is STILL in the dark ages

    another example of so called “top instructors” demonstrating how preferences are the enemy of success. i say again, either terry rowles is wrong or y’all are. which is it? do something worthwhile instead of these blah blah blah talks and force the conversation

    It’s not a new idea, and you can make one with a piece of wood. Or draw or paint a line on a coin. Also, you’re saying that ANYTHING that improves your golfing skills is worth a lot of money, which is simply not true. A towel can serve as several different golf practice accessories, should we charge $100 just to name it “golf practice towel”?
