    Without getting too much into it. All models are built for different purposes. Go on their website and check out their products and look under vest. Its lightweight to full protection with soft and hard armor.

    10 years on this video is coming up soon. Yes I still have it. There is a reason why SOCOM and multiple units and agency's issues it. It was a fun video to do when I was bored in between missions on my 5th and last combat tour of my military career. I am practicing editing to start making more videos as I am retired from Law Enforcement and the Army. I will be showcasing all my hobbies for now from the things I love including tactical gear where this all started. Thanks for sticking around 10 years.

    Stupid to have all your mags on the front of the carrier because you can’t lay down flat. There’s a reason special operations and special forces don’t do that. Keep 3 on the front and the rest on the sides.

  • @chicopopo24
    @chicopopo243 ай бұрын

    We have to carry a minimum of 10 magazines for sustained firefights. You can blow threw the standard 6 mags in no time. Once your out of ammo its just a peice of metal against the enemy. The whole too much in the front is basement warriors. My buddies (Special Ops guys) will agree with me.

    Hey man I wanted to see if you can provide some guidance on sizing with the AVS. I currently wear a medium plate carrier (LBT inc.) and Im wanting to replace it when I get back from deployment. I know with the AVS you can size up or down between the plate bags and the harness. I am 5’11” and 205 lbs with wide back and shoulders but for some reason any sort of large vest fits big on me. Im just wondering if the harness has a lot of wiggle room or “play” to allow a wide range of person sizing? Any advice helps. Thanks.

  • @chicopopo24
    @chicopopo244 жыл бұрын

    Hey brother! Im 5'9" 210 lbs, I use Med Plates in Med bags and harness. The Cummerbund is Lrg/X Lrg, Med is too small/short. The harness stretches with laced elastic in the back so its very adjustable. I was issued Lrg at first but was too big. When fitted properly it is snug and stretches' when you breath. Be sure to get the harness pad set as it makes a huge difference in comfort and ventilation. Hope that helps.
