Sweetest family..... .How does a Philippine Mom and Dad raise 4 children and manage to do this…… …….Every week the Family learns 2-3 new songs...Its always a surprise ...........Sometimes it just the kids doing some Hard Rock or Pop Punk....then sometimes its the whole family doing Ska or Oldies or Philippine Pop or Gospel Tunes......Then its a full day setting everything up to record.....Then takes another day of Dad mixing sound..Then Mom has to edit.... this classic surprised me........ ........I wonder how they choose if they take turns or draw names from a hat ??...Its pretty amazing to think they have never played this before...They just all learn their parts then set up the gear...and belt it out........ ………………………………. ………….. This live recording is from Ziggo Dome Amsterdam in 2022, together with Floor Jansen [pronounced Yansen], the 3rd and present female singer of the band, and Henk Poort, a well known Dutch baritone. About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners. Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory): " Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland. Tuomas Holopainen [pronounced Tuo-mas], the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [Sami Vanska was the bassist of the band starting with their 2nd studio album, he was with them until 2001. Then Marco Hietala was bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least. Then in May 2021 Jukka Koskinen [pronounced Yukka] became the bassist of the band, for the Human :II: Nature tour - and recently, the band announced he became a permanent member] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen [he also recorded the bass lines for their 1st studio album]. Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen [pronounced Yukka] is the drummer.
