Thank you 😊
Sure beats the Tektite cab by light years
I would not call your shop small lol
Are the locking universal joints spring loaded?
So much for the 42 huh?
I ended up getting the 42 and returning the side cabinet.
@@DemoDad101 gotcha
A great. video Sir. Have a graat week. Subies forever.
Thanks, you too!
Get yourself a pair of TRACKTUBES and their Centipede Knob Kit .. then either buy the TRACKTOP or make your own top. I use my Centipede quite a bit, but hated the BORA Top!
Put the wheel studs in the freezer, if possible overnight, and they slip right in.
Sounds like a neat trick. Although unnecessary. You don’t need a special tool. Could just use a socket and washer to pull the stud in. Doesn’t take much time.
How about a higher grade stud.
The issue isn’t stud breaking. Its lug nuts being cross threaded. So a higher grade studs would make this much more difficult if they’re ever cross threaded. These replacement studs are grade 8, just like the OEM.
or higher grade vehicle..
@@harley-cq6deI despise this car. It’s actually my wife’s second vehicle. I barely even fit in it. It’s the most obnoxious machine I’ve ever driven.
Why is it breaking wheel studs ? Fix that problem before your wife breaks tham all !
As I said in the video, whenever it’s dealer serviced…they almost always cross thread the lug on the stud. Now that I have a shop with a lift, and the basic warranty is gone…I do most of the service and repair myself.
I completely agree with your purchase. I am definitely a right tools for the right job type of guy, but in my opinion when it comes to things like this, I’d rather just use an oversize nut rather than buy a kit that’s more than likely cheap shit unless you’re gonna spend a couple hundred dollars on a namebrand kit.
The oversized socket method is totally fine. The only real difference is that this Lisle tool has a conical bevel so that the lug pulls the stud in completely straight and flush. It was a pretty cheap tool that I found when I picked up the Dorman studs. I didn’t see the point in OEM studs since they are the same grade and they were cheaper.
Meanwhile, I want them all shorter 😂
Are you doing a countertop style install?
@@DemoDad101 bench top. I’m 5’8” and like to be able to work at them. My current bench is a bit low at 35”. I figure 40” is about the upper limited for me if I do something like toss a transfer case up there and want to be able to reach over the top and also see. Lol
I have the exact same Bora and because of your recommendation I just upgraded it with the double p-tops exactly like you did. However I started with only the one top and I've decided that just doesn't meet my needs so I am buying two more. They are *not* inexpensive and many people would choose to do something else, but I'm paying for the break-down-and-stow-away capability since I work in a crowded home garage. I can still make more money, but I can't make more time or more space. Not saying your advice is incorrect, just that different people have different needs and different budgets for money/space/time. For cutting a sheet of plywood I lay some foam insulation board on top of the bare leg assembly to support the plywood; it works perfectly and the pieces of foam insulation board fit in the sheet goods portion of my scrap cart. Many thanks for calling out the double p-tops, they are exactly what I needed.
JD and Harley both went WOKE and have a DEI program in full effect. This is a major factor for me when choosing where I spend my money. Thank God for competition that has chosen otherwise. Vote with your money.
I may be switching to a Kubota LX4020. Still a fight to get dealers to even respond to my inquiries though. Ridiculous.
Thank you for doing the review on a 3039 r I have the same tractor 2018 model. Yes I'm going to agree with complaints you have (some of). But overall I love the tractor and would buy it again. I did rent some other brands and they did not even come close to this tractor. I like some of these attachments or add-ons you put on. I'd like to have grab handles for the back cab Post. Yeah and I guess at 5:11 grill guard work pretty good cuz I need to do something too when I'm running my gravel ? Jeanette the function running all the way to the front for the gravel also runs my belly dick so it's a little aggravating trying to get everything switched around plugged up the way it has to be to switch to the belly deck from a grapple. You're right they needed to put some more ScV hookups on the back. Well I'll go for now keep up the good work and reviews for the Tractor.
Belly Deck
I bought the Tekton version and it work amazing for my Milwaukee chrome sockets, I love them. Plus the Tekton wrench organizer are great.
our family has always had john deere and we are going to stick with them i’m going still support my local dealer who has helped us 24- 7 for years and all the factory workers who work hard making this equipment, the lay off are because of the bad farm economy, every brand is making equipment in other countries for years %95 of deere is still made in the usa they are only moving some of the skid loaders to mexico i don’t care about some jack ass CEO talking out his ass i care about the hard working employees new holland just moved all their combines from grand island nebraska to beigium and nobody said a word
Thanks for commenting. The JD dealer near me is a bit of a joke. Especially their sales department. Their service department is decent. I also could care less where they are made. USA Labor and Unions have crippled manufacturing here. I care about what the company represents and the values it perpetuates. We won't be around forever.
My JD Dealer, Minnesota Equipment in Rogers MN, has completely let me down. I'm not going to get into details and is good to hear your having good luck with yours.
Love my USA Craftsman Screwdrivers and my Capri Wrenches!
The only issue I have with the Craftsman Screwdrivers is that they're very hard to hang onto if you get oil on them.
An air hammer is the only reason i own a compressor these days
I've not seen an electric needler or electric hammer/chisel yet.
As a DIY guy that used to be a pro boat mechanic, air makes zero sense for me. Battery technology is way too good today.
I'd have to completely agree with that.
You can add and remove extra clips for the sockets that dont fit. It takes a little longer to set up than the toolbox widget but its also less than half price and made in the usa
Yeah, I did that throughout the video as you can see a pile of them on the bench but since I did much of this on 10x speed...it's easy to miss!
Obviously you don’t actually work on old things. If you did you would know electric power tools just don’t really compare to air. Don’t get me wrong I grab electric first but once I run 2 batteries down trying to get things apart the air comes out and things either come apart or break.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's interesting to hear your perspective on the comparison between electric power tools and air tools.
Milwaukee is King! Why drag a hose?
That’s what I’m sayin! I HATE cords and hoses.
They do make nice stuff. I have their locking universal joints.
That's great to hear! Their locking universal joints are really handy. I bought a set but forgot to include them in the video!
Lol nailed it on the entertainment side. 😂 That’s what gives me reservations about that drawer. I’d rather store the tools flat in a drawer that’s relevant to their use.
I'm still living with it to see if I like it. I'm going to give it a couple months and see what my opinion is then.
I appreciate it's made in Taiwan. Looks nice quality. I'm going to have a crack at making mine. Subbed
Thank you for the support and for subscribing! I hope your project turns out amazing.
Good Info thanks. I just put some extensions on my 4x4 and one thing I found out is if you put the nut in th socket then tilt the socket up and put it in the end piece then put it on the centipede it goes one with ease and you don't have to deal with the frustration.
That’s a great tip! I tried that but it didn’t work on the Milwaukee socket I was using. They’re super deep where the nut sits. It would have probably worked with my Capri sockets though.
@@DemoDad101 I've got a miss match group of tool I've inherited through the year so I'm not sure which brand I was using. I know I was using a 19mm. On your tip I've order some of the twin packs for my table. Thanks
Wear can I buy one!!
I got this from a rental company. One near you probably has one for sale. I’ve seen them pop on Facebook Marketplace every few months.
Where
@@jjy1463 I bet your local rental place has a few of these collecting dust. Mine came from Milton Rental in Milton Vermont.
Demo dad is in the house!!! That is so cool!!!! Wow I need one for my shop!!
I have the 56" box with the hutch, the end locker and this drawer unit. And you quickly realize how easy it is to run out of room lol. But so far its been a good box. We'll see
I've got more room than I know what to do with right now lol. I know it won't always be that way. I really wanted to future proof my setup.
Were you able to get it as tall as the DeWalt stool? I need thet height with a comfortable seat
I left it alone. I do find it a little tippy already so I don’t know if it would be wise to raise the center of gravity.
@@DemoDad101 appreciate the response, looks like I'm not going to get this one
You touched on one of the concerns I have with the MDF top... water. Have you considered putting a finish on it to help protect it from potential water damage.
I’ve considered it. If I were to do that…I’d rather spend the time and energy on a one piece plywood top instead.
It’s official I am jealous
Why be jealous when you can buy your own affordable USG S3 box!? :)
Is this the 56"?
Yes it is.
Toolbox widget when the socket rail costs more than the socket 2024 version of more money than brains club.
That’s a popular opinion held by many. Oddly enough all of those people haven’t experienced the product though. I can tell you it’s much cheaper to invest in TBW than buy a second box or trade for a larger box because you need more space to accommodate your collection AND your inefficient storage systems. That goes triple for people spending stupid money on Snap-On tier boxes.
this guy needs to be getting way more views for the production quality
Thank you! I appreciate that! I’m still a pretty small channel.
When Harbor Freight copies this, RIP Widget.
Very true.
I eventually ditched the black trays and just used the rail
So they still stand up in the drawer well?
@@DemoDad101 I have the drawer pretty packed but my 1/2 impacts were a little unstable, my 3/8 and 1/4 stay up on their own
@@DemoDad101 They make rails with magnets to attach to the drawers.
JMO, but I still think the peg organizers are the best. I have the Olsa tools peg rails to hold my seconds and 12-points as well. But I like just looking at the size on the peg, pulling it off, and dropping it back on when I'm done. Again, just my personal preference. Great vid, man!
Thank you for the feedback and the compliment!
Does it need a level floor?
Not really. But…like any table on a sloped floor…the surface of the table will be sloped.
This LOOKED like a great idea. It was a NIGHTMARE to put together, and even after done properly, I noted 2 huge drawbacks; 1) All of my Cordless Power Tools have Belt Clips, and once the added thickness of those is taken into account, there's no way to arrange ones tools without them being "Wonky". Second, as you noted, there is a MASSIVE amount of WASTED SPACE left in the drawer once this is inserted. Considering what my 72" Tool Cabinet cost, imo there is ZERO JUSTIFICATION for this amount of wasted and unusable "Real Estate". "Just say NO" to the cost of this, the PAIN to assemble and properly configure it, and all of the otherwise usable space you'll be forfeiting with this "organizer" BAD DESIGN imo!!!
I completely agree!
That has no reason to be on a non keyed hot. Change the hot wire to keyed.
That's better! 🥰
Anybody else wish like hell we could just get an overall look at that toolbox. I really appreciate the review. I just wish you zoomed out a few more times. I feel like we are right up against it.
I can do that in the follow up video I have planned in a little bit.
@@DemoDad101 I appreciate you! I did find another video you made where you did give us an overall look. 😆 I wasn't trying to criticize you personally I was just being a crybaby. 😂 You did a great job covering important details
@@OGRH Oh I don't mind criticism. I don't take things personally 99% of the time. I appreciate feedback of any sort. I'm very new at this and I only improve with feedback.
The cable is too short, on this model, the vevor company says that it has a 16.4ft semi rigid cable for inspection. That must be an extra accessory. Also it does not have a casing to carry it. The box will eventually deteriorate
I leave the box and foam in one of the drawers of my US General Series 3 toolbox. I’m fine with the box deteriorating. That foam will last a very long time though.
Check out some of the dog hole uses. I think you may change your mind about ditching the current top.
Fair enough. I will do just that!
Out of those three Capri offerings, Astro Pneumatic has a couple of contenders which are their ONYX 3/8″ Nano Impact (v2) rated @ 500ft/lb and the 3/8″ Nano Flex-Head Angle Impact rated @ 400ft/lb. wrenches. I don't know who came out with these first, but they're good to have. Nice Capri haul there by the way. I have the Capri super thin 14-Piece wrench set, some hex bit socket sets and the WaveDrive Combination wrench metric set. I'm not disappointed at all.
I also enjoy their wrenches. That’s why I decided to pickup their sockets.
Astro makes some pretty solid stuff. Everything I’ve gotten from them have been awesome. Some of it isn’t quite all there for millwrighting but that’s fine.
Thank you for your review.
Thank you for watching it! :)
Which ones are you using for the Ratchet Wrenchs?
I primarily use Icon and Milwaukee ratcheting wrenches. Those are all stored with toolbox wrench organizer widgets. I hope that answers your question.
This isn't a K-Tools product review. It's a Milwaukee ad campaign.
It’s not. I’m not sponsored by either company. The Milwaukee wrenches are shaped weird and have a very wide beam.
