  Hey Brandon it’s me again with the mototec. I purchased the electro and co and I’ve literally ridden it 5 times. I have a problem. It loses power at full throttle and the volt meter counts down to zero. Any idea?

  I'm super confused. Are you asking for info on a b2 or a razor lol either way 19s or 20s ain't gonna work without a ton of fabrication and even then it's gonna look and feel goofy.

  @@EmxBrandon I have both currently and i ordered a swing arm for the back tires for both bikes but will it work if im using that kit u showed in the video for the b1 ?? Like what’s difference in size also does it withstand pot holes and jumps ??? I’m new at these builds and have been watching videos from different folks and one bike I had broke so I took the battery down and tested it it works fine the control fried itself pretty bad because the wire wasn’t on good enough so when the kids hit the jump it was pretty much over with but hopefully the bigger swing arms will help it along with the new shock I ordered

  @jadenknight9876 my controller kits will work regardless of the swing arm and tire size , yes. As the for the differences in the kits. One is a 72450 which can do 200 battery 450 phase, the other is a 72300 which can do 100 battery 300 phase. As long as you have the controller mounted tight and the wires bolted down nothing should hurt them.

  @chrismagallanes8858 the 72450 has a peak of 200 battery amps and 450 phase, the kit is meant for the b2. The 72300 can do 100 battery amps and 300 phase amps, and is meant for the b1.

  I work at a transmission shop. Im doing a clutch in 2016 1.4 awd tomorrow. Direct hit says it pays 11.5 hours to do clutch. We got clutch kit and dual mass flywheel from the dealer. It took 2 months to get a clutch finally.

  Not sure, I got the b2 coming and that's gonna take up most of my time for now. But I'm definitely not going to be the first. Others have already tried to pair the 165 encoder to the 450 with no luck. So it's not looking promising. Gonna try and sell the qs kit and get a sotion fw01 or something hall based.

  I've never changed ine on a 500 but I'd assume you'll need to pull the motor, top end, and clutch cover to get to it. I'd say it's a day job.

  Ok. Transmission is out! I’m having trouble getting it back in. What equipment or strategy did you use to get it back in?

  Theres a little stud for the starter sticking put of the mating surface of the trans, I suggest double nut and pulling that stud. It was hanging up on the clutch when I tried to put it back in and make it much harder. Make sure to reinstall the stud once back into position. All I did was set the trans on the jack and jack it up into place. Once you get the shaft lined up with the clutch put a couple bolts in around the trans and slowly start tightening then evenly until the trans is fully mated. It's gonna take some muscle, if you have someone who can help send them up top and have them help guide the trans into place.

  Ok. Sorry to keep asking so many questions. Something isn’t quite right. I pulled the control arm assembly out, and am able to line up the transmission. But it seems like it only wants to go so far. There is a 1 inch gap. Enough to catch some of the bolts. But they all seem to stop, and not go further. I can still see a but of the flywheel, but everything is lined up. Does the rear differential, or release bearing prevent it from moving any further? Did you run into that issue, or did it just go on smoothe?

  @manarciso1988 every trans I've replaced never fully seated I had to start a few bolts and slowly tighten in a cross pattern until it sucked in. Did you use a clutch alightment tool to put the new clutch back in?

  I used a clutch, and was able to get it straight. I’m going to pull it back out and double check there isn’t anything stuck. But all the bolts are lining up, they just only go so far before everything stops. So I just wasn’t sure if yours did the same, or if it just fit right in and sealed right up.

  The answer really depends on what bike you have and what controller your trying to hook it up to. If it's a stock mototec you just need to wire it into the indicator plug. Black to black and red to blue (or whatever color is left on indicator plug)

  i got a new battery since my old one got damaged and the new battery kinda dies quickly, it’s a 48v 14ah but i didn’t know the watts can only go up to 1200w max, my mototec is 1600w i can’t go wide open or else 1 bar goes down everytime after fully charged. what should i do

  @tuhxive ypu cpuld be over working the cells. Keep an eye on how hot that battery gets if you can. The stock controller only pulls 35 amps so nothing to crazy. But I definitely recommend getting either a stock battery or a quality battery from amorge.

  I wired up my setup exaclty as shown and I am getting a 5 beep pattern from the battery. The dkd display lights up but then there is no power to the motor. Any ideas?

  5 beeps is a voltage issue. If your battery is sitting under 61v the controller goes into protection. Sounds like your not using a 72v battery? If so change your low voltage protect.

  Honestly fardriver is a huge pain In The ass. Seems like they are always making new models and changing sizes. Normally the 72300 and 72220 are going to be the same and the 72340 (I think) 72450, and 72680 use the same bolt pattern just different thicknesses. What controller do you think it has and what controller are you looking to upgrade too?

  @@EmxBrandon thanks for the reply my bike should arrive this week so I can see exactly what model it is besides the 70 amps all I know it’s one of the controllers with the black back and it’s only rated for 48v I’m clueless honestly lol but I would love to install your 72v kit if I can install it clean I would even settle for 60v if I haft to lol 😆😇😎🫡

  Yes yes...helps a lot!...BUT...at 17:50 you unhighlight and turn Phase Filters "off".. .the flipsky website says for the 75200 PRO V2 alu PCB says Phase Filtering:YES...its the only model ESC that allows phase filtering does it matter if you have it off like that?...ive gotten into the "off" habit too.

  I have a question : dies the FARDRIVER controller app only compatible with certain phones? I have a Motorola and the "scan" feature doesnt work at all, even though my phone's Bluetooth pairing can find the FARDRIVER easily. I tried to install the FARDRIVER app on a Samsung Galaxy A21, and it cant install at *all*.

  For Android you need to go to the Google search bar and type fardriver app for Android. Should be the first link for fardrivers website and when you click on it, it will show a picture of the blue tooth dongle. Right under that picture is a green bar that says download. Click that and download the app. Android is kinda a pain in the ass.
