Wow! I did not know your name, but from the first note I perked up and was completely hooked. I have heard this piece so many times, by great guitarist like John Williams, Ana Vidovic, Tal Hurwitz - this interpretation is lovely and up there with the best. And upon visiting your website, it looks like you live in my city of birth, Amsterdam! For a brief moment, many years ago, I considered studying guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam... All the best!

The pace of this interpretation is perfectly executed, and I've never heard such precise control of articulation on the guitar! This performance is truly second to none!

It is sad that Barrios never recieved the acclaim he deserved during his lifetime. This is partly to do with the fact that 100 years ago the leading classical guitarist, who was Segovia, said Barrios was not a good composer. This was completely out of jealousy of the amazing talent of Barrios. However Segovia was the leading spokesperson for classical guitar at that time and could make or break a guitarist with a few words. Gabriel Bianco did a fabulous job on this marvelous piece. Thank you for keeping Agustin Barrios alive.

Si conoscono arrangiamenti per sola chitarra di componimenti per sola viola, violino, pianoforte, ... Ma è la prima volta che un'opera composta per sola chitarra sale agli onori di armonizzazione orchestrale. Sì, Barrios unico. Per sempre
