Id suggest putting a piece of cloth under small gas canister when putting it in pot because eventually it leaves a ring of rust in the bottom of the pot.. 👍 great vid

Your over weight. When you raise you suspension you DECREASE your GVW. That camper should never be installed in a Mid size or 1/2 ton truck. Buy a 1 ton if you want that set up.

As a guy who just bought one of these second hand but brand new, I did not receive the owners manual so this video helped for sure. I did own a Dave Scadden McKenzie Drifter X2 about 15 years ago so it was extremely similar assembly. The video helped for sure. Thanks.

We also buy things from TEMU. I have found the exact same products in stores here, and it would be double or triple the price. I have come across some poor quality products, but they will refund you. I got me one of those portable camp stoves like you ( in the orange container), it was 6 dollars more! And, that gas cartridge you have, is not available here in Hawaii. Lol. Nice haul!

I have purchased various Temu merchandise. Most of it is decent quality, some of it is not. Anything that is of good quality is going to cost more anyway. I did put together a good cooking system for approx. $35.00 and is well worth the investment.

At 18:49 you can see that the corner of the water jug is already dented. Doesn't say much for the toughness of the plastic. I've never bought anything from Temu, but I might have to check it out.

Yeah, I noticed that and pushed it back out. Everything from Temu is shipped in bags and I’ve been lucky to not have any damaged items in the many orders I’ve placed. There’s some cool gadgets on Temu for sure.

I wouldn't personally use temu products that come into contact with things I ingest, such as the cutlery or water container. Too many temu products are poor quality and you risk ingesting dangerous chemicals. The other products fine but I just wouldn't risk drinking contaminated water.

From what I learned in Business school is this: a product can have the label" Made in the USA or America" has the product first outsourced ( usually China/ Taiwan, cheap labor) , sent back to the US. The company then rent a Customs approved place to add 10% of a real US made product onto the outsourced product, and slap a " Made in the USA/ America " label on it, and it's all legal. I do agree, they have some poor products. They refund you if your not satisfied.

Temu is great if you don't mind buying products made by slave labor. Not sweatshop labor. Actual slavery. That's why it's so cheap. If you're not aware of this, look into the Uygur slave labor camps in China. As much as I like the idea of solar, I won't get solar for my house because I know that most of the panels on the market are made by slaves in China. Don't support slavery. Slavery is evil.

@@jerryechevarria799 Hi, the XT has bigger zippered storage compartments by the oar locks and comes with a stripping tray and transport wheel. I think that's it. I just bought a Colorado. Couldn't justify buying the XT for something like $250 more. I am going to make my own transport wheel. Thanks

In my trial run with the riser installed I found the height to be almost impossible to row with the oars. I do plan on installing a trolling motor which will be nice with the pedestal riser though.

It is just reflective tape. The fridge runs on strictly 12v and is very efficient.

Went with a buddy to look at this truck today at a dealer in Findlay Ohio they are asking 30k and won’t budge do you think it’s worth it? Crazy that I seen this video last year and got to see the truck today! I told him it looked familiar and after seeing the rear springs and knowing it came from California I had a feeling it had a 4wheel camper on it at one time

I don’t. I believe it’s a dometic forced air propane furnace. It’s the same one four wheel campers has been using for years.

How did you fit a 10 inch mattress in there while still being able to close the pop-up? I have a Swift FWC, and at best I can get like 4-5 inches of mattress. Thanks for the walk-around. Looks great.

The tochta mattress was custom. You can get any thickness. I ordered 4-5” I believe. Pricey but worth the comfort.
