I’m 65 and have enjoyed using my 1963 DeWalt radial arm saw for years. RAS are not dangerous if you know what you are doing and have respect for safety. Jealous of your vintage router, but I am blessed to have a full shop of “antique tools” because when I was young and single I could not afford to go to Sears and buy new Craftsman tools like my friends. My 1948 Delta bandsaw and 40’s vintage Craftsman 6” jointer and shaper are built like a tank and still going strong. My prized passion in my 1914 Victor Koontz pattern makers vice. Too bad America does not build things to last like they use to🇺🇸. Loved the video! You definitely have a new follower!

So, is the power pack only necessary if you are using 110v in a household/furniture application? Would it not be needed in a vehicular or RV 12v application? Thank you.

  • @TommyTompkins

That's correct. You can power it on any 12v power source.

I want to thank You so so much! I had an error code in my keypad of a different stove and had placed an order for the piece in ebay and it was due to be delivered today and it was delayed. So God said go look on youtube and find a video on how to manually ignite the stove like back in the day. Your video popped up and I read the comments and I said a prayer over the video bc I really didnt have the money for the part. It was $250, and that was the cheapest seller. They package was delayed and I wad going to go all weekend without a stove and I asked my son humor me and help me get the panel off. It looked as though of the pins was cruddy, I had used the eraser but also a small pin to scratch lightly each pin. We put it back together ans turned the breaker back on and its meatloaf tonight instead if tacos! Thank you so much. Now I can get a refund from the seller when it comes and use that money to pay my car payment! Thank you!!! Praise Jesus for leading me to find you! ❤❤❤❤😊

The author does like to from scratch, kzread.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

I don't understand how the speed controler would be wired in to just one actuator without being able to handle reversed polarity or having multiple switches.

So that's how they did it. I once visited a fun restaurant in Portland that had a table top move up and down slowly enough to not be noticed, that is, until your food and drinks were in a ridiculously high or low position. They also had an ultra-slow rotating top that was unnoticeable (until it wasn't anymore.) A good laugh.😂 Super clear video 👍

We have exactly the same oven and replaced the board two times and each lasted about 2-3 years before malfunctioning again. This time we were considering replacing because repair quotation itself is about $450. Your simple and easy solution is the best I have ever seen. Many thanks from my family for posting the video.

Caig Labs' DeOxit - invest. Infinitely better than an eraser, and it continues to protect against the very thing you're correcting. A small bottle will last you a VERY long time, until you figure out that it improves just about everything it touches, but that's a different story. Pull the ribbon cables, dribble a little DeOxit on, let it sit for a minute, agitate with a q-tip or lint-free-cloth, wipe off excess, and work the end of the ribbon cables in and out of the socket about 20 times with the deoxit applied very lightly, and then allow the empty socket to sit for a few minutes, then work the ribbon in and out again a few times, then seat the ribbon, pull the connector tight, and if you still have a problem, I guarantee it's not the connector or the ribbon cable!

Just a note, If the contacts of the ribbon cable a graphite color absolutely start with a light abrasive cleaning, i.e., a pencil eraser. Do NOT use any cleaner,, alcohol or electronic on that ribbon, or you will damage it. The author correctly said "eraser" ! Bravo !

Hi I repair and replace motors for recliners and I believe they are basically the same type of motor that you are using. I was just wondering if these speed controllers would speed up a new motor that is slow? Or is the speed of the motor the fastest that it will go. Thanks

Is there a way to install a small actuator (to open and close blast gates) in a way that it opens with the switch the shop vac is on and closes when power is shut off? (My shop vac and tools are on an automatic vacuum switch). I have a regular wall switch that activates the vacuum without the tools on. I want to wire an actuator to a blast gate just by giving it power on and off (without having to switch polarity). Thanks!

Wanted to share an idea that I have for making my own version of this game. 1: Every piece would be made of different wood types. 2: Each player would choose a cor for their base. There will be a hole where the home and start are and the player that chooses let's say Red for their Cherry wood base can put their color in that hole with magnets. I also wanna change the design so it can work with a 3 player triangle design. Any tips, or am I crazy?
