  As tamer, I recommend ST15 Tai Kamiya (best option) or Bt1 Tai Kamiya. In my play experience the memory setter is absolutely needed in this deck.

  I found HS more valuable than CD. With EX6 Mirei effect when you play out an ST10 Gato, digivolve into Angewomon BT15, neg 12 total something, and gain a memory. It’s a sick combo. Even if you don’t play those specific play set gato/Ange you still get an Ange out on the board for a possible DNA end of turn or Ace on the opponents turn.

  I love this deck. I'm currently testing a purple base with heavy emphasis on discarding with ukkomons and the bt16 cupimons and underworlds call/pummel whack since they both allow you to dig deeper into your deck while giving you memory to play your gatomons and still keep turn while also letting you take care of floodgates with pummel whack without having to overcomit

  Great hearing the history of your experience in the game! There's definitely a pattern of Nationals formats having cards that get rightly restricted soon after (Ice Wall!, Greymon X, Anubismon/Apocalymon). Ideally, they would restrict those before the biggest tournament of the year.

  humm lvl6 ration on the black digimon should be the opposite, most of the time when evolving into brywe you dont rly have memory to keep turn unless you already have a mem setter out, having the garanteed immunity for 1 turn makes ex6 brywe better, so the ratio should be 4--2

  Promo Zuba for a more stack oriented build doesnt do much, Raid is nice, but is often times not very needed. Now a more gacha oriented approach makes fantastic use of it.

  So the deck already has ways to gain raid and piercing off the red line, so having an effect specifically to gain those effects seems kinda useless because we already have it. As for brywe the starter giving protection as an inheritable is better along with being able to re-apply its protection every turn. The new one is mostly hand fodder because we have more ways to use and re use the card. Maybe I am running too many options.

  Love the video, mate. I wish we would get a full evo line for Spadamon and maybe more Legend Arms digimon. Like a bow or a hammer, heck, imagine Ragnaloadmon just being a megazord, switch out arms.

  well if you dont have promo seadramon then lana and calmara then you can take out a megaseadramon for mermaid. you would have to run a little bit more tamers to make the hybrids better but that is how you can do it.

  Overall, I do agree with your sentiment regarding the deck. The entire archetype is being held up by Xiangpengmon and the cards surrounding him are really old cards that lack either impact, efficiency, or both. My build for the deck is similar but imo I think a lot could be done to shore up the lack of utility. Essentially, each card you highlighted as 'other useful cards' I included in the list. Those cards, aegisdramon, and waruseadramon help you establish something more proactive rather than purely reactive. I'm also not the biggest fan of the EX3 Megaseadramon because having to attack to play out a body can potential a detriment with all the Aces out there. Bt15 Megaseadra is very situational and resource intensive. And JumboGamemon just feelsbentirely too passive. It especially hurts that JumboGame isn't an Aqua. I still think the deck is very fun and skill intensive. But hopefully Ex8 brings the archtype together into something strong, faster, and more consistent.

  I think it is a great card for how ex06 diaboromon works, but it is more of a situational tech. I generally like to flesh out a solid core or foundational deck for these videos more than spicy tech.

  For the record, tucking under another card *is* leaving the battle area. Delayed-Release DP Reduction is the best form of removal generically.

  A deck that's being slept on is, surprisingly, BlackWarGreymon. It has good matchups against Numemon, Mirage, and any of the DNA decks. Magnamon X is still a problem, but with enough DP, you can at least purge him with BlackWarGreymon X. I would say Devas, but Monzaemon and Valkyrimon mean you can't keep your Level 5s on the board to Ace. Not sure why Ludomon would help them since he has to go under a Level 3.

  Ive been playing armadillomon dna for quite a while now. It works way better if you use both the new and old Shakkoumon for your lvl 5s. Swap in a couple of the bt8 angemon and bt8 patamon. Use ShadowSeraphimon and the new Slashangemon for your lvl 6s, and you can even open a couple slots for the dna chaosmon for a very nice top end.

  The deck is highly flexible in what it can do, but this build that a player named Infinity made has a lot going for it compared to some of the others which is why I think this is the strongest version. It uses the best control and protection tools while also having the damage to close out games that are very distinctively lacking in most other builds. I am not saying the other builds are bad, but when I applied the same template to silphymon and it still works to me, it means there is something to this version.

  The msrp has been increasing. This didn't help with the fact that bt16 had a shortage and stores wanted to try to keep the price high for ex06 because of that, knowing they can sell boxes at higher prices. My LGS sold me these for $90 a box, but others are selling them for higher.

  @TheFluffiestZinogre last set is what really started it all because of the shortage. But I have not heard anything about ex06 being short printed, and with the way everything was going on around ex06, something definitely seems off. But I do think anything over $100 for a box of digimon is too expensive.

  We wouldn't have lost Shakkoumon if they JUST ALSO ALLOWED IT TO DNA DIGIVOLVE FROM ANGEMON+ANKYLOMON; Shakkoumon BT16 could've just had two ways to DNA Digivolve and it would've worked. Give it both Angemon+Ankylomon and Lv4 Yellow+LV4 Black.

  I am not. I'm just explaining why it works and showing it off in action. The deck hoang showed off wasn't his either it was infinity's. The profile is less focus and it is more on the gameplay for these types of videos, sure I could I said it wasn't my build so it is going to be credited in the description but not saying that part was my bad didn't think about it when I went into the video.

  Data is one of the most dangerous things a company can give to players, so I understand when Bandai wants this to be a casual game that they want as little data out as possible.

  I think this is cool, but also that it's trying to do too many different things at once, which rarely goes well. It's DNA, force attack and Ace, and Magnamon X, and each of those already has more consistent, separate decks.

  From the looks of it and based on how it was played it seems like it is more of a toolbox style of deck that uses a strong level 6 pair to be flexible on its plays lines. It does seem like a lot but that is the cool part on having so many options that all works well together. Valk ace as an example doesn't need the force attack to be good but when it lines up it is better, the deck can just sit on a shakkoumon to apply pressure and ace if they try anything. the same type of logic can be applied with magnamon x. It is a deck that just works.

  I wouldn’t be surprised if magnamon x or the Magnamon focused decks get hit by the list, because of how severe the power wall is thanks to it’s skill set, but if not, there’s the golden knight option card that can hurt it’s consistency. Personally my go to during this format is either Fenriloogamon or Imperialdramon.
